I much prefer credit to debit cards. for the sole reasons that the credit card has a set limit, isn't tied directly to your bank account, and most banks will call you if they notice any suspiciously large purchases.

I prefer debit to credit cards because I know I would go crazy and top off my credit card even though I know I couldn't pay it back.

I much rather use a debt card because you know what is your limit of what you can spend. And also it is accepted anywhere if it is a Mastercard or Visa. You can use it as a credit card, but it comes out of your checking account.

Me too. I have two of them. XD Well only because I have two checking accounts. One checking account is money that I save up for a rainy day or a big purchase that I want to get. And the other one is for everything. My bills, food, and other stuff.

Oh, and I definitely prefer using my debit card over my credit card. I have a deathly fear of falling into credit card debt, which usually dissuades me from even picking the little piece of plastic up. The most that I can do to my debit card is go a little over what I have in my account, which is only like a $10 fee. >>
