All of my friends keep telling me to get a Wii, but whenever I look at the games catalogue online I don't see a single thing that interests me. (Srsly, if I want to exercise, I'll do this thing called walking.) I think I'll just stick with my DS. D:

I had a wii back when it was released, but I had to sell it. I haven't seen the need to buy another one since then. there aren't that many games that interest me and the only games I ever actually played with my wii before selling it were the sports. I could pretty much guarantee that if I got another wii, it would sit there unused most of the time. (It can't even play standard dvds without modding, last I knew)

I like the Wii, but there are just so many crappy games for the it. D: I've always been a Nintendo fan. It would be nice if there could be some better games. I'm all for family-oriented games. They're the ones I prefer, but lately...ugh.
Using the Internet on it isn't so annoying if you get a USB keyboard, but it's still rather annoying.

11703.

I'm going to TCTI CS DCC to cus im that bored.

But umm, good wii game = DBZ Budakai Tenkaichi 3... Master everything.

Youll lose a few kilos too. and pop muscles. dye your hair yellow while youre at it, or paint yourself green.
oh my god i got raging blast on the 360 :D

My mom is getting my little sister a wii for x-mas. It sucks for her because she wanted a 360 to keep in touch with me on xbl. :/

Which leads to the question I want to ask you, Adam:

Would a USB mouse work to replace the wiimote, or there's no mouse to replace it? D:
Sadly, no. There is no replacement for the mouse, which sucks.

The article makes that sound like it's intended to be used on PCs, just giving them more Wii-like functionality. I could be wrong, that's just how it seems to me.

It is.. but the infra-red feature may make it work as a wii mote.. since the sensor needs to be connected.

Installing homebrew is easy, you just have to have the right games. Although, installing it won't make that mouse work with anything other than homebrew that was designed for it (meaning the Internet Channel won't support it).

I doubt there will be an easier way, unfortunately. D:
There's no way I can type a lot using the Wiimote. I'd get tired of that and probably give up eventually. The keyboard made it soooo much easier. Any USB keyboard should work fine with it.

I have a lot of patience as well, but not that much. XD
You must have a huge amount of patience to be able to handle that. Although, I've never actually tried typing a huge tl;dr on the Wii, so...I may have that much patience for all I know. It's hard to judge until you actually try it for yourself.

Sigh, I just got a Google Wave invite. But I can't find anyone to wave with.
You can't send normal email either. What a dragg.

Yeeah. XD; I think the only reason I could is that I've been used to typing on the Wii for so long. At first, I wasn't even going to bother making tl;drs on this thing. But as I grew more motivated to express my thoughts on certain topics/ideas, I began to ignore my "limitation"(so to speak) and make long posts anyway. It didn't take long before I was apt at typing up long posts; it's not really that hard.

I'm sure you can make long posts on it, too. XD Though the thought of making one may seem tedious and impossible, after you start "typing", you just can't find yourself stopping until you've really expressed all your thoughts. o:
You just love to type long posts, don't you? XD Nothing wrong with that, at all. It's nice to want to express yourself. I generally don't type tl;dr's unless I feel very strongly about something, and so far, there hasn't been much. Most of my tl;dr's are over MSN. XD

The thought of typing on it definitely makes it seem tedious, yeah. I've typed on it before, and it was really slow. Although, with practice, I can see it becoming even easier.

hay hay dead thread :(
