I do see the downfall of America coming soon really.

Australia ain't so grand either.

We may be ahead in timezones, but living on a lonely continent has it downfalls of getting everything late. :[

We're safe from natural disasters though. :D For now..

You'd think if everyone migrated here, that business would transfer with it, no? In that case, products would more than likely be made here. I think Australia is safer in many ways, anyway.

Sort of.
If everyone migrated here due to the economic crisis, then money and employment would come with them. Major companies could transfer over, causing for products to be made released here first.

After all, I'm merely speculating, although it could happen.
 
Ah the wonders of what the future can hold.

But I'm sure if that were to happen, Australia would be overpopulated, seeing as how America is much bigger than Australia.

And... Everything would happen all over again. lol
 
That's stupid. Only the rich Americans would be able to get over here anyway cuz of the economic crisis, so therefore, there wouldn't be a problem.
 
Not necessarily.

People could find other ways to get here, and probably for those who can't afford it, people would travel here by boat, like old times.

Like immigrants who illegally travel here/overseas to find work and a better place to live.

My parents came here because of what happened to their country. I was going to live in Japan, but they turned my parents down and Australia took them in instead.

But we went to Sydney instead, I'm assuming because it's like the second capital. XDD

I have some relatives in Perth though.. :x And pretty much everywhere else around Australia.

But they could, depending on how made the economy will get.

The thing is, people with money won't need to move so badly >>

The crisis only hits if you have little or waaaay too much money.
 
I highly doubt this will happen though.

I mean, if America's economy screws up, the rest of the world is pretty much done for.
