I'm only a year behind you, I felt old when I turned 20 especially hanging around on this site with a bunch of teens.
But in all honesty, I'm excited to be getting out of college, and have the free time to work a full time job. Hopefully it will involve a move to a bigger city for me.

Good luck to you. What is your major?

And good luck to you, my friend.

I am studying Games Technology. It is fun but really tough! How about yourself?

Computer Networking is what the courses are group under at my local college, but in reality it more Coperate Enterprise Networks, Active Directory, Windows Server Administration etc.

At my school, it's grouped under Network Administrator/Analyst, and it's really just about using the features included in Windows Server as well as Exchange Server, using Linux OSes for the same purposes as get covered in the Windows Server classes, and networking using routers and switches that use Cisco's IOS.

I'm really excited that I only have a semester and a half left to finish. IT is the best major I've ever chosen, and I'm going to stick with it. I guess Graphic Design, my old major, could wait while I mess with technology.

Good luck Fabio, and hope for a fantastic finish! :)

I'm only four weeks into my very first semester at university...
Studying Cinema/Cultural studies and Media and Communications! :D

Yay, I passed the first of the six tests required to be MCITP, I am now a MCTS. Five more to go >.>.

Finance? Eh, I like math, just not that much!

I should take those certs this summer before I forget.

You should, they aren't that bad. (not to mention you can get a free voucher from DreamSpark if you are a member.) The test was very similar to the Measure Up practice tests. I found the simulations were even pretty easy.

Congratulations!
I am sure you can pass the rest just like your first!
Thanks, I took one of the easiest ones, so I'm not so sure I'll pass as easy, but if I study hard enough I think I will pass.

OOH!

Today I saw an ad in a costume shop near my house looking for casual employees! It is a fairly small shop, but like, working in a costume shop would be so much fun! / I want to get into filmmaking later on, so sourcing costumes and props would like benefit from it!

I haven't had a job in 2 years. My dad got me a job at the McDonald's he worked at. But, having only an hour to get ready from school and work really tired me out and I couldn't preform at a high level, so I had to quit.

I haven't ever had a job...>__> But I have an application in at Taco Bell that I am gonna go check in on today, and I am gonna get an application for Burger Kind as well. I need a job...>__<

I'm glad I'm getting my certifications, current job didn't give me my commissions. I can't wait to get out of retail!

Good luck getting a job guys!

I just started looking for a job here since I need to start paying off my school's tuition. I'm just hoping I don't end up at Walmart like my brother-in-law did. xD But hey, it's a big city I live in, I'll find one sooner or later.

Mum's always telling me I need a job for when I choose to buy stuffs... Thing is, I am so stingy, I rarely buy anything. Seriously. I like cannot bring myself to spend money...

Still, I'd like to build up my savings so I can get like a deposit on an apartment or enough to lease a place or something. That'd be the goal.

I've been lucky enough to keep my Gamestop job since I've first gotten hired when I was 18. Its not great pay, but I love it. I had to get a second job for awhile at a dollar store for over a year & I had to quit because of nasty rumors & stuff :/

Same with me, when I do end up spending money it is for food, gas, car insurance and those are just necessities. I try and put in $50 dollars per weekly pay check on college tuition though. I will probably end up spending a lot today on the 3DS pending they still have them in stock by the time I get there.

Sounds like my old job, drama. Employees talking crap about each other whinning, druggys, so I am kind of glad when they went out of business.
