It's pretty obvious over the last year that people do not want to adhere to set rules, for example I noticed on my social media feed a rebellious attitude towards returning mask mandates. (but this is not a thread about that at all).
How much do you confirm/are there certain things in society you do not agree with? I'll write an example.
I strongly dislike the stigma and push society shoves at people to be in a romantic relationship. It seems people have created very nasty terms for people not in a relationship (such as lonely, loser, etc). Even with these labels, I still haven't wanted to be in a relationship. I cherish my family/friends and I feel no need at all for such a thing. If it makes me a "loser"...oh well.
I actually lost my a close friend because of somebody with an opposing view. Her spouse had apparently decided opposite genders could not simply be friends, and forced her to cut me off. It was even weirder because it was an online friendship with the occasional phone call. Not like really knew each other. I had mixed feelings, but in the end I respect his view point. People think differently I guess.
