    So, a while ago in 2013 and 2014 or something like that I made a couple of RPs based on the anime series Kokoro Connect. I've been thinking I'd really like to give it another go, so here's the premise for the RPs latest incarnation to see if anybody is interested.


    Connections: Rebirth





    Life is a journey, and for many of us it is not an easy one. The road of life is winding and bumpy, filled with trials and tribulations that we can either work through or let consume and eventually destroy us. Yet, those who have given in need not always be that way. Sometimes this road offers a chance at rebirth.

    Simmonds School of Rebirth is one of the ways in which some have this opportunity. A large facility in the American countryside, the Simmonds School is not your normal educational facility. It is a boarding school for troubled youths. Each and every student at the Simmonds School has some sort of baggage that the specialised programmes of the school are trying to remedy. These students are criminals and victims, addicts and abusers, the lonely and the lost – and you are one of them. You are a new student at Simmonds School of Rebirth. You are also a target.

    A mysterious supernatural being has decided that you and your fellow RPers are quite interesting, and to feed its amusement it will subject you to bizarre, terrifying and confronting supernatural phenomena. Can you survive in an environment such as the Simmonds School? Can you survive these phenomena when the only people you can confide in are strangers? Strangers who you know have some sort of murky past.

    This is EXACTLY what I just said in some other thread here that I wanted. ALso it's pink. I can't not. I'll be jumping at an opportunity to join!

    I kinda hope you will cap player number though, because too many players (more than 8) in this... Could be less nice imo. I just have to hope that I can get there in time haha.
     
    I actually remember seeing this when it was first released, haha.

    So, will this be a structured RP? or more open? Is it like choosing what classes to go to like a school-ish/academy RP? I've never seen Kokoro Connect (actually, I just watched some of the first episode so I could get a better feel for this RP) so I'm curious how it'll work.

    I can say I'm interested because I can actually make a criminal character and I like that there's an RP that's targeted toward those type of characters.
     
    Oh okay, wait of course it's a school RP. I would be a bit iffy if we had to actually play out the school days I guess... I've seen that work pretty badly in past RPs. But last time you maybe had a working concept?

    But the cast are criminals and the day to day activities consist of supernatural happenings of the strangest degree.

    Well that's quite interesting I must say. I'd be well up for it. It's be a nice break away from pokémon and spectacle battles.
     
    Seems weird. Where do I sign away my soul too? Or actually, I would ask that if I wasn't already in 3 rps. but maybe if one finishes.

    idk how much time i'd have for it, but i'd definitely want to play a part in this if can free up some time
     
    I've been thinking about how I need to join an RP that isn't Pokemon related and this would be a perfect one! So many awesome things in this it looks like, so definitely count me in as someone very interested!

    Plus its like being in Supernatural kinda, major brownie points XD
     
    Alright well yes I will definitely be capping the number of players at a smaller number probably around eight but I would consider going a little bit higher. As for the RPs structure, it's going to be hybridised in nature. It will be split into chapters (one for each phenomena) and within each chapter it'll be split into days. For the most part though, what happens during each day will be sandbox.

    I won't be making people play out the school day as such, that'd be boring. I won't ever force players to do something boring. If people want to write about shenanigans occurring during a class though they'll be welcome to.
