Well, the point of this is to tell people about constructive posting, lately i've been seeing useless posts such as "Didn't see this before, good work" or "I like this hack" and sometimes people don't even post anything relevant in the thread.

Mainly, I want to show everyone what a constructive post looks like, remembers C+C? (Comment + Criticism)
You don't need this always, a comment could do if you back it up with a good reason.. Such as:
"Wow, this hack is look nice, I especially like those new _______ tiles"

But then there IS a C+C Post:

"This hack surprises me, especially those graphics and how much scripting you've put into it, though I reckon you hack needs a few palette changes, I especially dont like the orange trees"
    (That was just an example)

Also, I absolutely HATE posts with stupid grammar that you cant read:

"wow dis hack is gud when will beta be released?"
    That wasn't a good example..

It is in the rules not to ask to be a beta tester or when the beta will be released, I cant hack people continuously asking this... Some people only join to download betas..

    Note:
Remember that button that say's report post? It's there for a reason, mainly for offensive posts but also for pointless spam, it helps if you click it rather than telling off the spammer. It's not really going to stop them saying "Stop spamming please".

    Discussion is open.

Hmm... I should agree with ya. Well, it is in the rules, though, but it is also the fact that some members only sign-up just to download them, leading them not to read any rules if they decide to post.

But in the past few days or weeks or so, I kept on posting 'no spam', blahblahblah~yatta-yatta-yatta... Now, I'm trying to practice using the 'Report Button'.

That's all I got to say, at least...
    Good day~

I agree there's been a lot of offtopic posts and spamming in all the threads, I also see people(NOOBs)starting their on pointless threads in Documents & Tutorials and Hacks Showcase section, and it really annoys me. The thing I can say is that most noobs don't read and follow instructions, and I see the same question being asked over and over again, why can't they just simply search the forums.

I agree with this too! Hackers should accept Cricticism inorder to progress further.

Well I see nothing wrong with using stupid grammar, as long as their posts are not spam and constructive, because we cannot force people to be all good at english, cause there's all sorts of People in Pokemon Community( Pokemon Community is multi-cultural)and some people are not good in english.

True especially when you're under pressure from hacking, and they ask "beta where?" - really annoying. Noobs must know that they're not hacking but playing, so you must be patient and wait.

I should agree. Everything you said are correct. I do also hate wrong grammars..., but I know people aren't that perfect so I don't mind.... as long as I can understand it, then, I'm ok with it. What I don't love is the way there essence in their posts. I mean, there are a lot of members who seemingly don't read the first posts, and because of that, they keep on asking questions over and over again... That is just my opinion.... Thanks.

Yeah even i do the same mistake my one liners such as
'keep up the good work'' and all annoys myslef too...
but people can't think what to write at that moment atleast they do post!!
even this short messages carry an appreciation to the hackers part..
and the thread creator will surely love it..~~
not many people are interweb expert here~

We start asking for constructive comments, then we go bullshit and start flaming everything remotely unconstructive.

Stupid posts, alright, forget them, but let's be more lax on the constructiveness.
As long as the posts are just not stupid...

He doesn't mean to speak proper english, he means to not to sound stupid as in:
"Hi lolololo dat's good lollololo lol u tk it 2 da limitzzzzz?!?!? lololo jk!!!!
    Greeting from MrMyGrammarsgone"

Yeah, i hate all the bad grammer

I also hate about reading pointless posts

*good hak, cant wait to ply beta*

Of coarse you can't wait ot play the beta, but do you have to tell the world.

Great post, although I reckon you could've used colored text instead....
bahahah sorry, I had too :P

But I totally agree with this. I try to always specifically mention something in particular I like or dislike about the hack and give encouragement or criticism that is relevant. What's the point of having a big post count if they are all meaningless?
