4th Gen CoroCoro Scans (May 13th) / Famitsu scans (May 14th) - discussion

So then... stuff I gathered from looking:

- Either a new female person, or it's another rival. Methinks the former though. APPARENTLY japanese says she will also have a filler role in the game, ala Dawn/Lucas, possibly. (Unless you choose her - than the male trainer gets this role). Meh - Silver >>>> Dawn/Lucas-like characters...
- Starter can follow you outside of New Bark town - well beyond it. Given the pic with NEP stand next to another Pichu...well, maybe other pokes can stand next to you?
- Team rocket person, it seems by Slowpoke Well. Also Kurt's house is shown, but no way to tell if apricorns are back or not.
- new 'choose the starter pokemon!' screen
- possible pokegear on bottom screen - IMHO, it is.
- NEP Pichu an event from movie in Ilex forest, ho hum.
- Ilex Shrine (to Celebi) back as well
- interesting screenshot not from the overworld in male trainer pic - underground? New area screen? Scene? EDIT: looks like Sprout Tower - they brought back pics of places from the player's POV from FR/LG, ho hum.

Hmm. I wish we could see Team Rocket's outfit more clearly in the third scan. The overall new art looks great.
 
I don't mind the new girl. As for the 3D call, it might possible be.

What is this new 3D Pokeball Machine on the right? <-- NVM, it just might have been the new pic to when choosing your starter xD. I'd also like to comment on the dark lighted picture on the left of Gold, looks interesting, if it is part of the game...
 
No that is the first person view like in FR/LG bobandbill of the sprout tower.
And ah that is the new kurts house. Sweet. Also note that it is indeed the new girl and she has support roles like in DP. I cannot believe that Krobelus was right. I believe him. They are labelling this as remakes when really this is a whole new Johto. A whole new adventure. A whole new world.

Uh...screw that. The new girl looks like garbage. The hat is Friggin large, and she looks like she raided Super Mario's wardrobe.

also: neither was leaf a part of RGB, but looky here...

The new Gold looks neat, I think as well...The new hat isn't as bad as I might have though.

It's true that the girl from FRLG wasn't there in RBG/Y but that is because they only kept it as a boy for the first 2 Gens until Crystal came out...so they had to add a new girl at that time, to keep the new flow of things.

I realized they changed their pants for Gold, I prefer the loose fitted shorts, but I can deal with this...

We still don't know the whole plot of the game and most of the game as yet, so I don't think we can presume it is an entire new Johto as yet...

Wooo! Screenshots! So Pichu is in Ilex forest (with Platinum cloudiness), triple trading??, front on view of sprout tower, and an unidentified building (those are in reverse order on the pics I've shown. Plus, the new girl is NOT good. I don't like the hat, and I WANT CRYSTAL! Waaaaaaa!!!!
 
I am actually glad they put the girl in there because many people would not like it if they could only be a boy.

Anyways as for this new theory of pictures, it leads to many mysteries. The starter was not in the picture so that either means it doesn't follow you for long or you can have other pokemon follow you.
 
Its prolly before you become a trainer, because in the original, you only borrowed it for protection. So yeah...

It seems to me that for the event that the shiny pichu unlocks only does your starter not follow. This will surely be great. And I mean that it will be in game all the time.
 
Starter can be seen in screenshots following you in Azeala Town, so yes, it does follow you for more time than the predicted 'up-to-egg-giving' theory.

I like a lot of this...but admittedly, not so much the female person - looks decent enough, but hope then she doesn't take too much focus away from Silver. Crystal's looked better, IMO, and news that according to japanese text in the scans, the person you don't choose has a support role in the game and becomes kinda like Dawn/Lucas... =/ Well, I'm not their greatest fans, is all, personality-wise and so forth. Of course, the could make the support-characters better this time around...hoping that's the case?

We shall see!

I dont know why there's people Who doesnt like the new female,Yes Crystal maybe is better But The new one isnt bad,her hat suits her well and I actully think its better For Nintendo To put her instead.

Its too bad they didnt show Totodile's OW sprite,But im still wondering about wheres The starter in the Pichu event? Maybe its a cutscene? Maybe The starter cant follow you if they evolve?
But in Platinum in the amity square even if the starters evolve,you still see their OW.
 
Yeah exactly. Also am I the only one who is thinking whoever she is she must be related to the ranch? But then gold wouldn't exactly be either so thats out. Anyway you can tell by the build thats a Poke-Gear.
Also is it me or does the girl have a bulge in her pants were gold should? XD

I notice that Gold has a new Pants,The old one was actully better.
Though im actully wondering What Team Rocket looks like In DS,The picture with the "New" Gold showes in the left a picture if three Pokeballs in a machine,Starters? Looks like it,and in the Right theres a picture of 2 Bellsprout stones,Probebly the Sprout Tower,Theres also in the Top picture a Building,Im wondering if its The Sprout Tower(I dont remember the name) Or the Apricon guy's House(What wa his name again?xD)

That's a supposed translation of the game information. Don't know if it's real, but I trust my source XD
