I wouldn't buy it unless you're interested in having it as more of a collectors item than anything. You can find any of that info on Serebii (eventually) and it'll be easier and faster to do so.

I was gonna get one today because I like having for the official artwork, but they didn't seem to have any out on the floor to sell.
 
Is Ditto anywhere before the E4? If it's after the E4, can someone trade one to me please?

It's slightly before the E4- off of the city where you get the 8th badge (you don't need the badge though).

I have a spare one you can have, if you'd like. :)
 
Pokemon Y is one of my favorite 3ds games!
...But I'm the only one that bought it launch day and my friends aren't sure whether to buy or not. Bummer.
Also, I keep on trying to use Wonder Trade but can never find a partner...it's strange, as I thought a bunch of people would be playing and using the online feature. Guess not.

Oh, one thing...people have been saying that the game is really easy compared to the past games. Is this true? Is it because of the EXP SHARE item? I don't want to get over leveled too fast and roflstomp the gym leaders. So, I may not use it.
 
Everyone! You may already know this but you can encounter gible in a desert after you beat Korrina,also she gives you a lucario at the top of the Tower of Mastery and even Gives you a mega ring as well.

Oh yeah i forgot,you can encouter eevee in the wild like in pokemon black/white 2,i have an eevee that just evolved into an espeon

Similarities indeed. In fact, I wonder if naming that youngster there was reference to the original Joey XD

I'm in Santalune Forest right now, and it's definitely very much like Viridian Forest! Though I'm pretty sure there's a Youngster Joey in every region after Johto. Hmm, I can't remember where he is in Sinnoh at the moment. Guess Joey's a common name (all around the world!) for boys born in this generation.
 
I got X from Best Buy just minutes after they opened, and played it for most of the day. I'm enjoying it so far. The graphics look great, especially during battles. I almost chose not to get it due to the lack of the normal amount of new Pokémon plus the addition of Megas, but I was excited about exploring a new region that I knew so little about. I like to take my time, so I'm currently only on Route 2, about to enter the forest.

According to Amazon, the guide won't be released until the 22nd, pushed back from the 15th. I pre-ordered it for $12, which is a lot cheaper than the $20 that everyone else has it listed at. I prefer using it over GameFAQs, ect. I'm currently using the lone guide that is on GameFAQs until I get my guide from Amazon. The guide on GameFAQs has some inaccurate information on it, unfortunately.
 
Im 5 hours into it and just beat Viola. I'm having ablast with it. I've mostly been catching pokemon and training them. The super training is a bit disappointing and repetitive though.
 
Theoretically speaking, what would happen if I bought another copy of X or Y from the eShop, when I already use a physical copy?

Also, what happens with a friend code if I change 3DS?

Huh!? My spewpa evolved right after defeating Viola's vivillon. And surprise! It's... orange? Wow, did not expect that at all! How does that work? I'm sure it's not a shiny, and both mine and Viola's are female. Is it kind of like shellos in that it depends where you catch it or something?

EDIT: Ah, I found out by checking the Pokédex. It's a location-based thing, with mine having a high plains pattern instead of the standard meadow pattern. Cool! ^-^

Really, orange? We had seen a grey Vivillon before, and it was mentioned that Vivillon has something to do with a puzzle. Maybe that's why?

Edit; If you go to Vivillon in the Pokedex, it says 'Meadow Pattern' when you view the pink one.

Yeah it's pretty cool I gotta say. A neat feature that seems to encourage more use of the GTS and stuff. My beloved Australians get the River Pattern!
