If night is your productive time, then its not so bad. For me, I actually do stuff later on, so while missing the sun is annoying, its not all bad. Though I usually end up staying up until midnight, and five hours sleep is both too little and too long. I'm thinking of changing my sleep routine, so I sleep twice for four hours, getting like, two mini days in one.

I always have a bottle of water with me at work. Whether I drink it or not... Is another story. I try to, but some days I just don't, like today. Oops.

And I have no idea how napping will affect my sleep pattern. Hopefully not in a bad way.

I get weirded out by the thought of wearing contacts, but for me, I'm happy enough with glasses. I mean, sure I hate them to bits and want to snap them and destroy them and burn them everyday, but to me it's better than contacts would be. They'd be even more of a hassle.

I'm the opposite with glasses, being without them would be weird. Though I think that's because I've been wearing them since third grade, so I'm more than used to seeing myself with them.

Contacts, ohhhh no not doing those. Not so much because I can't stand things in my eyes (although that is a small factor), but the thought of putting them in and taking them out...no. That's one of the few things I'm slightly squeamish about. :| Not touching my eyes like that in any way. Nope.

Agreed. I'll take my glasses over contacts thanks. Though maybe I'd wear contacts for cosplay... But that'd be like, a one off.

I like my 7 am shifts, but it really makes the day longer when you have a shorter shift (7am-12pm) and not have anything else to do. It really depends on how heavy the freight trucks are each day. It's just hard when you screw up your night schedule and your habit to wake up at 5-5:30 am.

edit: WTF GUYS NEW PAGE.

I didn't cosplay this year at Comicpalooza. I wanted to, but I was a volunteer and I figured it would be a hassle having to get all my props & all that. I wanted to be Lian Xing from Syphon Filter. But I didn't have the hair. My boyfriend did cosplay as Ezio Auditore from Assassin's Creed. He was missing the sword though.

I have only been to one con and it was MCM Comicon in London. Was great, but I had wanted to cosplay and wasn't able to in the end. My ex did though, she went as CC from Code Geass

Yeah, but I'm not a fan of those humid nights here in Houston though. Feels like I'm literally swimming in a swamp.

I wish I had people to go out with at night. A close friend, a girlfriend. I actually can't wait to get back to England. At least I'll be able to see my close friends and family more often, more easily.

there's a chance that I'll miss it. work in the morning. but I still don't know if I'll even be at work because Tropical Storm Bill lol.

I thought it was at 12 noon ET/9 am PT? My schedule says 11 am.

And I haven't gotten an update from my workplace yet. Looks like I'm going to work in a tropical storm!! *quietly weeps*
