Anime/Manga Dagashi Kashi Gets Second Season in 2018

^ So, basically, Dagashi Kashi just had a second season announced. You know, that one anime that was about Japanese candy that the west was disappointed in because they were expecting something else entirely?

What are your thoughts? Personally, I'm pretty excited to see more of this adapted. It's been a great read.

Honestly, unless you've grown up in Japan, and or, have been exposed to tons of Japanese Food/Junk Food. You wouldn't get most of the jokes in the show...

But hey, Hotaru alone is a good reason to watch the show XD

I watched s1 and couldn't understand 80% of what was going on, but it had its entertaining moments and I loved Hotaru's fantasies. Saya had a really adorable design too. Will probably watch this one also.. at least I know exactly what to expect going into it this time around, lmao.

I didn't manage to get through the whole series so I am surprised this gets a season 2.
(I do remember picking this up originally for the character designs but apparently a different studio is animating season 2)
