I've heard that about the Japanese as well.

But I guess tall, blonde and impolite foreigners could be scary to me, if I was them. I've read somewhere that even the police sometimes is scared of the foreigners, letting them do whatever they want.

But that's just some magazine somewhere.

I think they're the ones being impolite if they can't get it in their heads that different cultures have different customs. (And different ways of being polite instead of conforming to their bowing. Over here in TO, if someone gives you a small bow it's regarded as being just as polite as a handshake.)

Oh, even landlords are afraid of foreigners because they think our food will "stink up the apartments" .. yet they go ga-ga over Italian restaurants.
Go figure.

Sounds much like America, no?

'Course, not all states or areas are like this. It just depends. Like, maybe the reason why they're impolite is because they've tried to be nice to many other foreigners or people of different cultures, and were looked down upon by them or something. Although one shouldn't stop being nice because of that, we unfortunately have a tendency to absorb negative feelings, whether we want to or not.

Somehow America adapts and evolves, though, to accept its current xenophobia culturally. Americans have despised, in terms of immigrants and foreigners throughout history, the British, Irish, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Mexican, Spanish, German, Arabic, and black Africans, amongst others. We've largely gotten over most of those prejudices, though some prejudices rear their ugly heads time and again, such as the Arab/Muslim and Mexican/Latino prejudices currently being exploited for political gains.

Hello. How is everyone? I just ate a sammich.

Well then.

*shakes hands about*

Let's get started.

I want a pie. Anyone got a pie? Because I want a pie.

Well, I am back after 2 weeks >___>

I assume the topic is cake vs. pies, in which case I would have to side with cake.

I just prefer cake because usually a large slice of cake is more filling than a small cut of pie.

I just think cakes are more delicious including they can have different structures, flavours including the outside and inside. For example like, ice crream inside, bread thing inside, fruit inside, pudding, I don't know. Just different stuff.

I like cakes! ...but I never have normal pies. I only have like, meat pies. :(

I have the worst sweet tooth. I have to consume bricks of sugar like every two hours to stay alive.

Wat. That sounds like an addiction, not a sweet tooth. D;

And the only way you would need that much sugar that often is if you were a certain kind of diabetic, iirc. Or maybe that's some other medical condition I'm thinking of. :\
