I'm learning C right now. It's pretty cool, I guess.

OMG, Jolene, your sig image hurt my eyes. ;-;

You need 3d glasses :D now where in the world is mine >.>

Also I came up with another last name called kestler, I didnt know when I must of got it, but now I know. you! :P

Eh? Anyhow my high school doesn't offer much in the way of programming. I'd like to learn a lot, its a shame I didn't go to my town's public school, they learn how to code webpages somewhere. along the course.

I had 3D glasses I took as payment for suffering a few hours of watching Avatar.. and I think I threw them away since they were useless but oh heck. They were really useless. I couldn't watch 3D with them!

3D sucks and all but those glasses are damn stylish. I'd wear 3D glasses like everywhere if that didn't make me look more autistic. I MEAN LIKE AN AUTIST YOU KNOW

I hate 3D, glasses or not. It's an even bigger gimmick than motion control, but it lacks any fun that motion control can have. And not only that, 3D has a more limited audience than motion controllers. Just look at this.

I know we're not talking about games, but it's annoying seeing how everyone is absolutely amazed that the 3DS is going to have glasses-less 3D. It still sucks.

Game programming would be awesome :P

...though I'm not really into programming at all... Except for what's necessary.
I'm currently learning VBS and Java. They're going to be my first programming languages :D

Yeah. I hope 3D dies soon personally.

At least in the film-making industry, I'm quite sure it won't. 3D movies bring LOADS of cash, especially from younger audiences and has been proven a successful "gimmick", if that's to say. As much as I dislike the overuse of 3D, and generally think it's not really well done, there are some cases were it really makes an experience refreshing- haters gonna hate, but I thought it was really awesome in Avatar and a couple other movies I've seen, though often it's overdone and lessens the enjoyment.

As for 3D gaming... the community seems pretty divided, as all reactions I see are either love or hate. However, only time will tell as the 3DS is released and Sony releases whatever they have in their sleeves for the PS3/3DTVs.

But man, the glasses. I love them.

It's very successful and has been on so many new movies now. But in my opinion only the "good" 3D films are the ones that have been made for 3D (eg, Avatar, Toy Story 3 and Piranha "3D", not just ones that 3D has been added onto to get more money.

Ive seen just normal people mess with 3d its cool. um in youtube its like a "welcome to pangea" thing.

But other wise, in movies, tv, HD & 3D are just fancy ways to say you spend more for nothing.
And realistic videogames with motion? yadayada. I want my buttons back :(

@Kanade; you probally got "real 3D" glasses. which is weird. just plain red&cyan are good enough at time. But 3D really sucks allot.

Oh guess whats after 3d tv? Hologram tv! o_o
Some 3D tvs need glasses? lmao

I'm with you there, but the Red and Cyan is horrible, because it makes me dizzy.

I'm too lethargic to move a plastic dil... I mean remote across my screen to control my game :(

3D adds a fun element to movies that might be otherwise boring. The last 3D move I saw was Toy Story, of course it didn't need the 3D but it was a fun addition.

I disagree. If a movie is boring, 3D effects aren't going to help it anyway. That's the same as saying "man this game sucks, let's add motion control and hope people think it's awesome" OH WAIT that's what the game developers are doing anyway!

Well I personally enjoy 3D anyways! Not motion controls so much, I'm pretty lazy, THOUGH NOT FAT AT ALL. I like laying down when I play games, Black Ops from the comfort of my bed is amazing. Yeeeeah.

3D is enjoyable when well done. Motion controls, yeaaah, I agree, I'd rather lay down in my comfy sofa and mash a couple buttons.

But 3D is nothing more than aesthetic appeal. Sometimes a game can be much more fun if it has motion controls implemented.

Not that it's a common thing, but still.

Are you implying the gaming industry isn't at least partially moved by aesthetic appeal aka graphics nowadays? Of course it's not what real gamers want, but if Activision released Call of Duty: Black Ops SUPER REALISTIC PS5 GRAPHICS EDITION do you think people wouldn't buy that like bananas?

And I dare you name me a single game that would be more fun if it had current-technology motion controls instead of the usual! No, seriously, now I'm curious!
