Pretty late.

But the thing is, they are a huge selling point. People will buy games with awesome graphics and mediocre gameplay (Crysis, Gran Turismo, for instance) as much as they'd buy the vice-versa.

It's usually the companies that are very popular(and because of that, usually rich) that make the great looking games. Granted, there are exceptions(like the great gameplay, mediocre graphics), but I'd like to think that currently graphics are about as high on the selling point scale as custom music. I think the biggest selling point in games today is nonlinearity & multiplayer, seeing the huge success of Bioware and Bethesda, and they have neat graphics at best.

Speaking of, Killzone 2 actually has a custom soundtrack listed as a feature. That's cool and all, but I don't know a single person that was willing to shell out $60 just because there is a custom soundtrack on it.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't because of the controller the Gamecube 'failed'. I think you know that too; you seem pretty knowledgeable.

Yes, the Playstation 2(and Nintendo's earlier screw-ups). But that's the thing, the Gamecube was trying to be the same as the other people. I would think people won't want to buy another console if the only thing it offers is an inferior disc medium and a smaller library of games.

I only been to one wedding before and I think that was back in 2005. I was the flower girl but other then that, I haven't been to a wedding ever since.

Have you ever tried a vegan cake? Yes VEGAN. I tried one once. It was pretty good :3 Dunno about the sugar content but I was impressed nonetheless <3
