Being a good educator is much more than just simply throwing the books at them.
If you're a principal you need to balance academic success with being an advocate for the kids. Being a good educator is much more than just simply throwing the books at them.
Not unless there's a district that still allows that. :x
But at that point wouldn't they get fired for assault? /is completely missing the point :P

I'm so glad I'm almost done with high school! Just two more months... I think I'm doing fairly decent in my classes for the first time in years. :D Despite the D in my favorite class...but that's just me not doing too well on the work, rather than not turning it in. :\

Oh god, senioritis. I had that, only the entire time I was in High School.
I remember during my last semester during my senior year in high school I already had every credit I needed to graduate, so I truly mailed it in that semester. I skipped my first period A LOT, which was just some sculpting class. The teacher absolutely hated me for it, and tried so hard to make sure I wouldn't graduate.
One day he actually got the principal on me, so she sat down with me in her office and look over my credits and I just told her "I already have all of the credits I need."
She realized that and told the teacher and he was even more pissed, haha.
God, now that I think about it, he tried everything in his power to fail me. For our final project we had to create a package that could protect an egg from shattering in rough circumstances. My project was the only one that protected the egg in the entire class, yet he still failed me for it. x]
Oh man, I had mad senioritis in my last year of high school. I wanted to leave before school even began. :P Not that my school was bad or anything, because it certainly wasn't, but I just really wanted to move on. And people were like "don't wish your high school life away you'll grow to miss it later yada yada yada" but honestly, not a day has gone by where I thought to myself, "man, y'know, I miss high school." It's more like, I think of high school and I'm like, "hasta la vista suckaaas!"
