Finished the first book today. Yeah the romance was overdone in the final section of the book. All things considered I thought it was a decent read, but I would say the book is over hyped. There are greater stories out there.

I would step into that cage for free too lol. I love starring death straight in the face.
 
I think if the camera panned around that poor fellow we'd see his pants would be a little on the not-dry side.

They could have at least made the cage a bit larger so that if you sneezed you didn't die.
 
But isn't the thrill a part of it? Hahaha. Still wouldn't do it though.
 
I think that cage is like an electric chair thing I saw a few years back. It wasn't the killing electric chair though, more like one that gave you a few shocks per each quarter you inserted. I didn't volunteer though, lol. But one guy did. He sat on the chair for like 2 seconds, after which he jumped on the ground twitching and stiff. Lol it was so crazy.
 
My middle school science teacher loved messing with a Van de Graff (sp) machine in his classes and freaking us out. :(
 
My middle school science teacher was into classic sports cars, raising baby ducks, and... inappropriate stuff with his students. And I guarantee you I'd rather experience the Faraday cage as opposed to the nasty stuff that guy did.
 
Well it depends - was he old and nasty or young and decent-looking?

OHHHH wait you said middle school never mind... I was thinking high school student with young teacher, which wouldn't be so bad if both parties consented lol

I don't get it, why wouldn't that be so bad? Students and teachers shouldn't really be together in any way.

A teacher being in a consentual relationship with a student, provided the student was like... 17 rather than 11, is hardly the worst thing in the world lol. Maybe not appropriate as far as preferential treatment goes, but there are far worse things people have done. Whenever there is stuff on the news about students getting with teachers I'm like "so? Was she raped?? No? Alright mind your own damn business" lol
 
Sometimes some people are not what you expect.

Tbh I have to agree with Andy here. Who cares seriously lol its hot. Besides, I am 18 now and still in highschool, so I am (and can be) responsible for myself, officially too, and if the age difference isn't outrageous, I really don't see the problem. Who are other people to decide over that lol.
