That looks like it is hard to pronounce. :V

One more post until my goal...

Yeah it does and my goal is almost near.

I'm getting use to Pansage but it's pretty hard to say as well. I think Yanappu was easier to pronounce.

I thought Scolipede was a cool name :<

and i don't normally say this, but i could honestly invent like a thousand better names than Sawk and Throh. Ending in Fu and Do, they could start with Machi or Macho or... :\

Yanappu was easier than Pansage, but Baoppu was annoying to pronounce :|

But Pendra's cooler! Pendra = Pendora (or Pendoraa) = Pandora = the curious girl.

I feel sorry for Mebukijika too. Sawbuck is terrible. Same with Deerling (sounds like "Duckling", and could be close to "Darjeeling").

But but Scolipede has a cool ringing pokemony name!

Yeah, Deerling and Sawbuck are kind bad.

BUT YOU HAVE TO ADMIT, TRUBBISH AND GARBADOR ARE COOL NAMES.

Everywhere else, though, it'd be "Bah-oh-poo" because the Great Vowel Shift screwed up the English language.

Scolipede makes it sound scholarly, and it does not specialize in Sp. Atk. whatsoever ☉__☉

I'll admit to those two being fine. Never liked Dasutodasu though.

I'm pretty sure Bel is still Bel in English and not something else. I'm quite disappoint with the translation since they killed a great game that will shortly be in our hands. :/

Nah, they changed it to Bianca (unless they decided against it, which would be nice...). But they kept Sharon though (that's how I always pronounced his name despite knowing it'd be pronounced "Cheh-rehn" or something like that).

Black is one of the best games I've ever played for the DS, and so I'm disappoint what will become of it.

And as I said, there was already a Bianca in the anime. /in before "the anime is not the same as the game" or something along those lines, but remember that Bel also appears in the anime, unlike other rivals (Silver, Wally(?), and Brendan)

You musta missed a page or two; the 3D convo. was a bit back.

And some people can't even see the 3D due to eye conditions, so I'm really not too keen on it. /not one of those people, but knows someone like that

I think Nintendo could've done better with the names. Like, I dunno, be more creative with them?

I fear for the gym leader names, though there's some hope for the more English-sounding ones if they kept N and Team Plasma ('course, if they changed those I really would weep).

They're plenty creative. Deino > Zweilous > Hydreigon are based on dragons/dinosaurs and the German names for 1, 2, and 3 (based on their heads), which is pretty clever in its own right.

Brave + Aviary

Chandelier + Lure

Bear + Arctic

Escargot + Cavalier

And Johto, sort of. Gary wasn't there a good portion of the time. Nor was he in the Orange Islands either.

War + eagle is better, though. I'll give you the Ein/Zwei/Drei reference though.

Yeah in the movie opening but was only there for a few seconds. So I'm guessing Hoenn was the only region that Ash didn't have a rival in.
He had Morrison and Tyson toward the end. I wish Harrison would have made an appearance in Hoenn though )= His Blaziken was beastly.
