The 3DS is my Nintendo 64 of the handheld generation. I never had any interest in the N64 at all, and that led me to care more about Sony as a developer. Oh well.

He is talking about the PSPgo. The UMD slot was taken away and you have to download all of your games from PSN. Also, there is no way for you to play your original PSP games on the PSPgo, since there is no slot. Apparently Sony were working on something to transfer the games somehow, but I haven't heard anything and the console has died a little I think, peronally.​

/loves the PSP and the DS, but doesn't love the abominations coming from them

The 3DS sounds cool, but I doubt I'll ever get it. I'm content enough with my DS Lite.

I would like my Lite more if the hinges weren't cracked and flimsy in the first place. Pretty excited for 3DS. Megaman Legends 3 here I come!

I want a 3DS because I have a WPA network and with the 3DS I will finally be able to play games on WiFi. I wanted to play on WiFi for Animal Crossing and Pokemon. There's an Animal Crossing game for 3DS coming out so I really want to play that. The hardware also seems interesting to me and I'd like to use it. If it gets hacked, by the time the 3DS comes out I will probably be done learning C, so I can make some homebrew for it even if only the DS-mode library from before is out. I've been saving a little bit of money for it, and so far I have forty dollars.
 
Yeah I feel you. I miss it too, maybe we will forget about the old one soon though.. a bit like the old comment layout that we forgot.

Some of the names are awesome, some of them suck. Scolipede is one of the ones that suck (makes it sound like a Scholar, which it isn't, sob).

Regardless, I'll probably have to use the English names. Oh well.
 
I figured they were real after seeing 'em on Serebii.

Two of the biggest fails though are Bianca and Fennel.

A. Bel (or Belle, if you prefer) is fine.
B. There is already a Bianca.
C. Fennel sounds like a good surname, not a good first name.

Just my thoughts, though.

Those are genuinely absolute garbador. The rest are pretty vanillish.

Sawk and Throh are really lame. At least Hitmonlee/chan/top sounded cooler.

But still, Scolipede for Pendra is sad. And Purrloin makes Choroneko sound edible.
