Meh, I'm not that in to graphical novels anymore. XD; I can't even remember the last one I read.

..that's a lie. The last one I read was PokeSpe. 8D

I hate the Pokemon mangas. They are just so awful. I couldn't bare reading them, and normally I love comics and manga.

Did you watch the anime before reading the manga? 'cause the anime and manga are very different because they have different teams working them. And there's more than one manga series (around 6 or 7, I think) for Pokemon. The most popular and longest running is Pokemon Special/Pokemon Adventures.

Artemis Fowl is meh. I liked 'em when I was younger (about your age, actually), but they aren't to my tastes anymore, and don't seem very well written. Definitely targeted at your age group, though.

I haven't read Pokemon Special in a while, sadly. It's probably the main reason why my Red fangirlism went down so low that something could take it over (though the only thing that really could was Tales of Symphonia. Shaman King tried, but it didn't succeed, haha). I still take a look at fanart and such every now and then.

As for books.... I honestly don't remember the last one I read. D; I should really consider picking up a book sometime again.

Books... I read those. Takes me a few months because I'm so busy, but I've read 3 in the last year, not including manga volumes and textbooks.

I didn't start reading for leisure again until this past year. Before that, I only ever did required reading for high school, and hadn't read for leisure since middle school.

I knew most people here wouldn't read it, as the community here is mainly in the age group of 16+. But still, it's absolutely fantastic with an amazing and unexpected plot.

It may seem like I hate Pokemon as I avoid those sections, but most Pokemon threads are quite boring (odd saying this on a Pokemon forum) and I only play the videogames nowadays.

Well there's your problem. You probably grabbed a volume off the shelf that put you in the middle of a story arc and you then didn't get to know the character's personalities. And, it may have been a DPPt arc volume, which, according to many fans of the series, is the lowest quality of the arcs, iirc. I can't confirm or deny this myself because I didn't read past Johto.

I've seen worse. It sticks to its cliches, though.

It's better to start from the beginning though, there's lots of Chekov's guns in this series, it's not even funny anymore. xP

You got it wrong Donnavan. People complain that the HGSS arc is the lowest quality of the arcs, probably because Platinum was still going on, while B/W was being forced into the market. Pryce didn't even make a cameo! >8(

As for the weather, don't worry, I was just joking. I lived in Winnipeg and experienced the time where I considered 8'C to be a warm day during winter. xD

It is a little slow, but most series are when they start.
