First of all, you're forgetting that this was the time that DCC would get two new pages of posts in a minute. You wouldn't be able to post something without like 3 other people replying before you.

That and I didn't want a forum to rule my life. I wanted to do other things like go outside, play games, talk to friends, and make artwork. I didn't want my life to become about one thing and one thing only, especially if I wasn't even getting paid for it, that's all. But that's why I tend to disagree with the whole "I want to be a mod" business. I think.. the people who become mods are those who currently have moderator traits anyways- and I don't believe someone should change themselves just for a higher "status."

After scribing in the English exam it looked pretty easy. It was rather stressful for me having to watch the guy I was scribing for make so many simple mistakes. Most of the questions I knew, but he just flunked it. Then he wanted to write instead of me and his handwriting was absolutely illegible :( It was hard to sit there and not help him. But from practically doing the exam it was pretty easy so I am confident that I can get the marks I need for subject selection in year 11.
 
PC rules my life whether I choose not to, since I've made tremendous effort in the real world. Don't get me wrong, I still have friends and I still go out and stuff, but I find the highlight of my day to be PC since I've discovered...people are very boring. At least the ones I live by. They talk about things that don't make sense, it's like listening to a bunch of idiots really. I don't know about some of you, but I kind of detest living in this century, like I shouldn't be here...I don't know, talking about this kind of stuff is very confusing.

I am the same age as you, and hang with the same age group you would usually hang around (I guess), and I can say that as much effort I make to enjoy doing a lot of the stuff they like I also find the highlight of the day here or on some other forum or watching some movie etc. I mean I like a lot of stuff, just most of it is stuff adults would enjoy, like traveling and eating at fancy restaurants and even working my volunteer service at childcare!
 
I really do think that people are more boring in the real world. They talk about weird things, and are incredibly naive, they taunt and bother me and are incredibly immature, while if I log onto PC, I can talk to people who are older than me( and make more sense) about more valuable things, and I can even talk about what's happening in the world today. So of course I'm going to prefer going on PC to the point that I barely ever let people bother me anymore because so many people are just not worth talking to. All I have to do is focus on my schoolwork, then when I come home I can talk after I finish my homework. That just makes the most sense to me. I can even do better in school this way. Honestly, I like this better.
 
To reply back to some comments on the last page about my goals.

Like i said im 17,i live with my grand mother and i get a ssi check for a little over 600.So thats how i live.

I also know that bein a mod is not easy and is not fun and games.It is a job.I have been a mod and a admin on a few sites before only difference is it was a different game.

I spend 10-15 hours on here as it is a day anyways.So if i try to be helpful,report threads/post,anwser questions,respectful to alll members,post alot and help out alot in the section i want to be mod i should be able to become a mod.I know it will take a long time but im not giving up.
 
If that was directed at me i would like to say that this isn't a second home to me it is my life.Ever since i got out of high school i have felt this way.I have noting else to do.If i wasn't on here or playin pokemon i be laying in bed watchin tv all day.I would get a job but i searched for 4 months and with this econemy and were i live its hard to get one.
 
No its not,i quit for my own reasons.I made it to be 11/12th and plan on takin my ged sooner or later.
 
I'll be honest, I don't want a mod that smoked since 13 and who even did crack in high school and even gave me the website to his ex-high school including being dumb enough to not check it included the email address of his then principal :(

Now I regret having not reported you since I didn't think you'd come back.
 
Wtf,done crack i never did crack...ive been drug free all my life.Only thing i do is smoke cigs and whats this about a ex High school,i never gave you a link of my old high school.
Plz stop making stuff up.
 
You know, I haven't formatted my old HDD yet, I can still recover our MSN conversation. I'm sure PC would be interested in your opinions and the address of your school.
 
You want to be 30 years old living with your grandmother and getting a check each month for $600.00 on the computer all day trying to get modded on a Pokémon forum?

My grandmother is 74 doubt she will live for me to be 30 and no i don't plan on living with her all my life.I can,t move out intill october thou.
 
Well, what is it that you plan on doing after you move out? School apparently isn't an option. Why isn't getting a high school education, and then furthering your education by going to college and getting a degree an option?

Forever hes just being a jack ass because he doesn't like how i live my life and he doesn't want me on pc.When i got banned a few months back he contacted me on msn and was talking a bunch of bull crap and trying to tell me this and that.

It makes me mad thou that he would go and say i did drugs when i was in high school.

Infact i hope he does recover that msn chat because i got noting to hide.Hes the one who attacked me verb on msn.

Because why go and have to wait intill august to start school when i only have one year left.When i can go get my ged in the next 2 months or so.This school year is half over so i could not re-enter and get enought credits to graduate.
