I honestly can't sleep 20 hours for anything, I could only sleep for a maximum of probably 5 or 6 if anything else. I could probably sleep all morning too, but that wouldn't be long too, wouldn't it? D:

I think the longest I've ever slept in one go is something like 15 hours, and that's probably pushing it. @_@

Though anything above 8 is sounding pretty good to me right now. (Nevermind 8, it'd be nice to sleep more than 4 or 5 for a few nights in a row. x_x)

My mom has been sick, and she just lays in bed all day long. Sleeps through most of it too. She's been in and out of the hospital, with no definitive answer.

It irks me when they keep bouncing around and changing their mind. You aren't paid to sit around and guess, you are paid to FIND out what is wrong.

I have never purchased a yearbook, ever. The only one I intend to get is one in my senior year. Still, I don't think the initial prize was ever over $50. You could like your name emblazoned onto the cover for a few extra dollars or something.

I'm not one for social events and the like, no matter "fantastic" they are supposed to do. It could be because of my small school, but they never are too glamorous.

We had similar options for ours. The cost may have had something to do with the size of my school, though (800+ students and a heck of a lot of pages for the school activities and clubs) , and the fact that the pictures for the senior class were full color.

I've never slept more than 14 hours, I think. It's pretty hard for me to sleep any longer than that, even when I'm sick. I get stiff if I sleep too long. XD;

Fortunately for me, I haven't had the stomach flu in a few years.

Diagnosing isn't a very easy job. Jeez, haven't you ever watched House!?

I can sympathize. :( I've had some medical issues and my doctor and I just sort of gave up trying to find out what's causing it and decided in the meantime we just have to deal with the symptoms. The fact that they keep changing their answer, though, could just mean they're ruling out different options and are homing in on the real issue though? Fingers crossed!

Nope. :( My doctors and I have never been able to figure out what's causing it so we just kinda gave up on the "why". I'm trying something new hoping the pain goes away (or my sense of it is dulled enough that Advil or something works) and we're gonna take it from there. Also got a referral to what I think is supposed to be the best pain clinic in Canada so even if I don't know why, I should be able to deal with it anyway, soon. @_@;; Sucks but it could be worse.

Kind of a long and tmi explanation. :D Essentially it's chronic pain that (usually) crops up once every month.

edit: Haha, well I haven't really been on percocet in ages. Which I suppose is a good thing but I almost liked that better than the uncertainty now. xD;

Wait, I think you told me at one time what it was. The pain you usually have when it's once a month or something...it's becoming worse and worse or something, so you have to take painkillers for it? D:

...that's all I can remember. ;___; Something like that, I guess.

I hate it when I get sick now, the worse part is I know who infected me that day.

Germy teenagers.
Germy teenagers are the worst kinds of teenagers. :(

Yeah, pretty much. :( Except I haven't seriously needed painkillers in almost over a year (give or take a few days here and there). So I guess there's been improvement but I've also been on a lot of other drugs to offset that benefit so... not sure if there actually has been improvement. XD;

Goodness Erica, I'm becoming more and more worried about you each time. .___. It's a long time ago that this happened too, and you're still going through this. D: Hopefully the doctors will find something soon that would diminish the pain to where it would be something manageable.

I have high hopes for the pain clinic. :) They're used to dealing with chronic pain patients who have it muuuuch worse off than me so if they can help them enough to be a well-known, respected centre, I imagine my case should be a cakewalk when I get an appointment. u_u;

I also forgot to mention...is it strange that I'm scared of doctors, sorta? I mean, I dunno if you feel this way...but always walking into a clinic...I get this really strange, ominous feeling in a way...I dunno. I'm picturing myself in a clinic right now, looking at the people around me who are probably there for a variety of reasons and whatnot, and it just...feels so creepy. xDDD;

Nah, plenty of people are weirded out by it. To be honest, I've never been nervous about doctors or dentists. Probably because when I was a kid, whenever I'd go to the doctor, I'd get candy after. (Clearly the doctor had no problem referring me to a dentist afterward. :P) After the dentist, I'd get a small toy and a sticker. And I'd usually get to miss school in both cases which was always exciting as a little kid, so it almost made me look forward to both kinds of visits. xD

I don't even mind waiting rooms that much. I always bring something to do so I'm only ever bored if it's like... hours and hours.

I always get nervous when I walk into a doctor's office, even if I'm not the one seeing the doctor. I took my dad today for a follow-up on his surgery and I know my heart was beating pretty fast and my stomach felt nervous, and I was just sitting there. XD

I remember when Pop went to hospital. I started feeling in pain just by being there and thinking about Pop being there, lol :(

Hmm...I can't say I don't remember the last time my mother was taken to the hospital, true she has migraines, but they've decreased with medication.

And guess who's computer needs to be replaced, even though having it for only a year?

It's disgusting how horribly designed it is.

Pieces are falling off, the battery dies when it hits 90%, so I have to carry my charger around with me 24/7 and plug it in immediately upon starting it...it's crazy. Thank God I have a warranty.
