:( What kind of computer is it?

YOU HAVE ALL MY SYMPATHY.

I have a brick of a laptop up in my room. HP, had SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH IT that I nearly tremble with rage thinking about it. >_> Even if you get it fixed they'll just screw up again, I bet. S'what happened with me. (And it was awful for me since I got mine from the US so every time I wanted to get it fixed I had to ship it from the US and have it shipped back to the US... so I needed American friends to middleman for me and it was horrible. x_x We even offered to pay the shipping to/from Canada!)

I hate HP more than any other company.

I always thought Gateway was just kind of a cheapy brand. @_@

And honestly, I haven't heard any Dell horror stories in years. On the contrary, all I hear are good things. (And the only issues anyone has had with a Dell in my life in the last couple years were all caused by the owner himself. :P)

I've heard nothing but bad things about both Gateway and HP. Honestly, out of the major brands, I'd go with a Dell over anything else, and even then they're not THAT reliable. The good part about Dell is that they're really quick about getting your computer fixed if it borks - like, they'll have someone to your house to fix it in a day or two.

Sony's also really expensive though. :( In the cheap range, Dell is pretty much the only one I consistently hear good things about these days.

I'm using a dell laptop right now! It runs as good as the day I bought it, but I take pretty good care of it.. data wise, lol. Don't mind the fingerprints!

I run ccleaner and defraggler monthly and make sure to delete anything I'm not using, I think if everybody did this there would be a lot less complaining about computers in general. :p

I dunno, if I were given a free Mac, I'd take it in a heartbeat over any sort of HP computer. Even a "really good" HP. :/ And I don't like Macs either.

I know a few people with Vaios who really like them but I also know one person whose Vaio pretty much died overnight when she was mid-project with something huge and she lost everything. So that kinda tainted my view on them. You get a bit of the "pretty" tax that Macs have, too. :/

Me and my friends were talking about how we are getting old and remembering stuff that we loved and remembered coming out.

Here is a scary fact, the first matrix was released over 10 years ago. Woh! O_o

We were actually watching a scene from the Matrix in Philosophy the other day!

Such a good movie! Totally going to watch it again soon!
