Once you learn how to play an instrument, you always seem to be able to remember the basics. I'm sure that you're at least as good as me hehe...
I'm glad you have confidence in your dancing abilities though. Is it more fun then singing and the flute?

Well I never said I was really bad. Just not good! I just got back from tap. Well okay so I got out at 10:15 but I had to watch the American Idol finale quickly... just out of curiousity. Well we finished my dance! Finally! But the finale is awful! It's just so messed up it's hilarious! As for how many years I've been dancing... this is my 8th year since I started in 3rd grade.

As for the flute. I doubt I'm as good as you are because I haven't played in awhile and I wasn't very good at it to begin with. I do know the basics and most of the fingerings still. And of course I can still read music. But it would take me awhile to get used to it again...

Kayleigh... in a band? That's cool! Come on... tell us the name! It can't be that bad! The names I come up with are probably 10 times worse! I'm horrible at names...

Hey, guys, I'm on now, at a late time as usual for this week. I just haven't been able to come on earlier this week because of school things. And tomarrow it will be the same thing. I will be back on at my usual activity starting Friday. And I will be on for about 16 hours per day soon after, since I only have 5 days left of school, and the last day of school is only two hours long. :P Also, today after school I had a band concert. The last one of the year, which was outside. The weather was warm and sunny too, but then it started to look like it would rain near the end. I also found out which band class I will be in next year. I will be held back in the same class for next year though, since there would be too many drumers in the next class up. Luckily though, there will be two Freshmen that will be Sophmores next year that were in my band class this year. One is a drumer too, and he was hoping that we would be in the same class next year. Also, the other one is a girl that plays the clarinet that I have a crush on. :P Also, some Freshmen boys found out my secret... :\ (I'm a Sophmore, btw.)

8 years...Wow that's a lot. Just two more years until the trophy. :P

The flute is pretty cool. I tried it once. The best thing is that you don't have to put your mouth on it. XD

Funny thing is, I wasn't too bad with my tenor back in middle school, but once I moved on to high school I felt like I forgot everything. I'm not sure if its true, but I feel like I was better last year....
We might be about even. Or, I guess, I could be a little better, seeing as how I've had one more year of experience then you.....
Gosh, that sounded conceided hehe...

Not only am I bad with making up names, but I'm bad at remembering them too. It took me about teh whole school year to finally learn my band teacher's name hehe...

So, Kayleigh! What is it? Huh?

And those are cool names Dizzy! I'd probably come up with the "Care Bears" or something hehe...

8 years of dance is a lot? No, not really! When I started in 3rd grade... most people started when they were 3! The year I got my 5-year trophy all my friends were or had already gotten their 10-year! But that's okay. I catch on quick! And actually I took jazz for 7 years and now I take hip-hop instead. And I started tap in 5th grade... so this is only my 6th year of tap. But a total of 8 years. My senior year will be an emotional one for dance since I timed it out perfectly so I get my trophy the year I leave... actually it just kinda happened that way...

You had another concert LM? Cool. My chorus concert is June 10. It'll be super long since it's the senior's last concert. A lot of the sing solos and stuff at this concert. And the other choir is singing a 15 minute medley from Le Mis... along with their other songs! And then at the end they acknowledge all the seniors (all 24 of 'em) and give them an award and say what college they plan to go to... if they are going. And today we decided that when we're seniors the concert will last at least 4 hours! We have 56 sophomores in all the choirs! And it doesn't seem like a lot of us are planning to drop it! 56... that's more than this year's and next year's seniors in choir combined! There's so many of us!

Okay so we dance to "We Are the World" and at one point everyone gets into 2 lines facing each other. Then me and 5 other girls get into a circle around a giant globe. Everyone has their own small beach ball globe. Those of us in the circle have to pass them to each other and count to 8 one way and then switch. Meanwhile... the other's are throwing their globes to each other over our heads! Chaos! And we always knock over the giant globe and drop our own globes all over the place. And we get giggly easily! And yeah we did get out late... 10:15 is pretty late! But we did acomplish... well we acomplished finishing our actual dance... it's still horrible though...

And I can't wait to not be a sophomore... but that's still four weeks away... I hope Junior year will be better than this year!

I think that the Senior year will be great too. I'm excited for my Junior year next year too, since I will feel like I'm older. My Freshmen year was very dull and boring, and being a Freshmen, I was one of the younger kids in the school. This year being a Sophmore, I feel like I'm not so young, and I have made many new friends that I would of not made if I was a Freshmen, including Seniors. I also met a girl that I have a crush on in my band class that is a Freshmen. I think she is really cute, and I get all nervous and blush when I see her. ^_^;; I will have her in band next year too. I don't think she has a boyfriend yet either, and every girl that I've liked in the past has had or has a boyfriend. I think she might like me back too, but I'm not sure. She asked me if she could sign my yearbook and have me sign hers, and she has said 'hi' to me a few times, so I hope she likes me. :P I've never had a girlfriend before though so I'm not sure what I should do. :\

On a side note, I only have 5 days of school left, like I stated earlier. I'm really excited. I might be able to get a new GameCube game too. I was thinking maybe Custom Robo. What do you guys think? :P

It's not like I've never embarassed myself at a dance recital before! But I can always look back and laugh! For some reason at dance I become really outgoing! It's so weird... I'm never quiet and I'm always giggly! It's funny. I have so many dance stories that I could tell if I could only remember them all! If I think of any I'll tell them tomorrow along with the one about my sister.

My auditorium isn't really big... but it still holds a lot of people. I know for a fact that the Sunday show has been sold out for a couple weeks... I'm pretty sure the Saturday one is by now too! And dance is 100% seperate from school. There are people from different towns in my class and everything. And dance is not a girl thing! Dance can be just as much for guys as it is for girls! Just guys tend to think of it as a girl thing. My teacher this year was a guy... until he got fired. But I won't get into that again!

Anyways... it is getting late and I still have quite a bit of school left so I should get to sleep soon. The only issue is that a few minutes ago it randomly started downpouring! Oh... a sophomore is your 10th grade year. Usually you're between 14 and 16 in your sophomore year. I can't wait until it's over though...

I'm 15, although some of my classmates having their birthdays this year already are 16.
Which means that I'm still considered a sophomore until next year, just that we're called secondary school students here (Sec. 4 in my case).
Next year's Junior College (or other higher institutes like Polytechnic, but JC's a direct route to University, supposed to be the best), and from the open house that I've been to, they call them First years and Second years.

I'm not a very good singer, in my opinion... I'm not bad to the point where people throw tomatatoes at me, (Well, it hasn't happened yet... >_>) but singing certainly will not be part of my future career, lol. I never sing to anyone; I'm too shy! The only person that has heard it is my little one year old brother, and that's only to get him to go to sleep. Hey, it works!

As for dancing... Nooo. And I've never really been good at any instruments. But, I love the piano, violin, guitar, drums, etc. so those would be fun to learn. ^_^; I just can't seem to learn the musical notes and things that you have to read. I'm better at just memorizing it on my own.

I can't sing well, I can't dance well, and I can't play any instruments well. They can be fun sometimes though, when I'm alone anyway! o_o'

I have my own signature electric guitar. XD I can't play it well at all. ._. I'm not gifted in any musical practices, but I do enjoy music very much, music is totally awesome!

Thinking up your own band with your friend, that must've been quite an adventure, Kayleigh! lol XD
