A lot of people say Degrassi is a good show...if it's so popular in Australia and Canada, why has it never come to America? o_O;;
What is that show about? I've never heard of it before. ^_^;;;

Wow, I'm kinda suprised that I'm on so much earlier than I have in the past week, but afterall, it is Saturday. :P Btw, does anyone have Custom Robo or ever played it? I'm still not sure which game I should get next. :\

Degrassi is in the US, but in order to watch it, you have to have digital cable, or satellite. I don't, so I have to watch it at other people's houses. But in Canada and Australia you can watch it on basic cable. Actually, Degrassi is the most popular show on The-N (the US channel it is on), and they ordered the 4th season back in April.

Degrassi is a "Teen Drama" set in Toronto, Canada. It is based on the lives of fictional high school characters, that go to Degrassi Community School. Each episode deals with real issues that teenagers go through at some time or other; funny, or serious. For more information, go here: https://www.degrassi.tv

Yeah, basically, that's what it's about. And all this weekend is the "Every Degrassi Episode Ever" Marathon. Tonight is season 2, so watch it if you get The-N or CTV. Or go here for info on The-N: https://www.The-n.com

I always think of you when I see that on the program guide of my digital cable Nick, lol. ^_^;; I should probably actually stop and watch it once. ._.

LOL Kairi. Yes, you should! I started liking it one night last summer, at my cousin's house. The marathon was on once again, and I was channel surfing. You know sometimes you leave it on a certain channel to see what the show's about, or because you want to go get something to eat. That's how it ended up on Degrassi, and then something funny happened. I was like "That's never happened on a kid's show before!" and I was hooked. I've been hooked since last July, on that night.

Oh! And the beachballs were at the dance because it was a luau themed dance! Everyone was hitting them to each other and I got hit more than once. But luckily they don't hurt! Except I did manage to destroy 2 of my sister's ceiling lamps with them years ago...

Destroying 2 ceiling lamps....I only managed to destroy 1 though.
There used to be a chandelier in my living room. It had a hole in the middle so I had this insane idea of throwing my basketball through it. :P
You might know what happened next. XD
That was a long time ago.

Btw, does Iron Chef come in the food network Chairman Kaga?

Degrassi sounds like one of my friend's name. :P

yeah Iron chef is on there....I love that show

SQUEEZE ON!?

They tried an americanversion of Iron Chef with William Chatner...obviously it sucked but it was pretty funny...cause it sucked...

Shatner actually made an ok chairman...he was eccentric enough for the job (but not as eccentric as Takeshi Kaga of course :P ), but the rest of that show was a total circus...the judges were uneducated and lacked the judgement of a gourmet, the announcers knew nothing about food and instead did football commentary, and all that...at least it didn't have that snot Bobby Flay like IC: USA did back in April. =/

If you're going to watch it, it's best to stick with the Japanese version :P

Also, "Squeeze On" is actually "Fukui-san", but it sounds like Squeeze-On because of how fast the announcer says it...it took me months to find out what the floor reporter was actually saying o_O

Lol, I watched some of that Iron Chef stuff last night, I didn't understand very much, and the dubbing was horrible, but I had to say, the food looked really good :P. Makes me hungry just thinking about it....

Food Channel is a channel I NEVER watch. I don't see how people can watch food programs, and not get jealous that they cannot eat the end result.

~Dazed and Hungry

Lol, I never watch the food channel either, I was just flipping through channels I think at 1 in the morning because my brother has his friend over so we didn't sleep much, but I saw the show on, so I was like, what the heck. It wasn't very great in my opinion, but it made me hungry

I actually hate the Food Network...it's so boring, and I have no interest in food -.- Iron Chef's just so different than anything else on TV that I got hooked on it...I actually don't think it would be a tenth as good if it wasn't Japanese.

They are always cooking seafood when I turn there, and I LOVE seafood, so I cannot watch it...

I like watching things like that with friends, just because it'll make us laugh. Or just me, I'm weird.

~Dazed and Confused, Dud, yes Dud

Well, even If the food they where cooking on the foodnetwork looked awsome, I still wouldnt have the attention span to watch people cook, I mean how boring is that. -_-
