You can use land lines to vote...I do :P They just try to pitch text messaging as much as they can because they're in league with AT&T...
 
>_<; My cell phone stopped working. The charger is broken or something... and the car charger doesn't work either. So it's completely dead and we have to wait for extra parts to come in or something. +_+ It's been very annoying because it seemed to have died the very time I really need it. (It would have been useful at class on Saturday, and since I'm taking the late bus tomorrow... <<)

I don't usually text message or anything. Sometimes I'll get on MSN on my phone, though. o.o; But it kinda... messes up if anyone invites me to a group convo. ._.;
 
I don?t think I could stand IM on a phone. I?m happy with it as a phone, and it?s cheap for call waiting, forwarding, caller ID, and voice mail. I didn?t even have ID or waiting on my last line, which cost 3x more a month. =\

It's very annoying trying to push buttons to form any sort of message - plus it costs 10 cents to send one. =\ I usually just sit there and watch people talk to me while not saying anything back, or I'll just curiously look at who's online. @_@
 
Cell phones are getting too complicated...I remember there being a skit on Mad TV talking about text messaging in 53 easy steps :P

I'll have my phones plugged into walls, thank you very much...no one ever calls me anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter ._.

I stop going to school regularly on... *checks calendar* June 16th. Exam week is from the 17th until the 23rd, though. I only have to go in on the days I have an exam and even then, they only last for 2 hours. ^_^; But I won't have that much free time. I'll be studying and stuff for most of that, and then on the 25, I'm flying to Halifax to stay with a friend for a week. Then summer school... then another vacation... and another one... meh. I'll have close to no free time this summer. @_@;

There has been construction going on at my school since the end of the last school year and it is still going on one year later. o_O We don't get out because of it...
 
Construction? They renovated my middle school right after I left and it ook two years. But they still had to go to school during constuction. I haven't seen the new school and I don't really want to... I'll probably get lost! They are also messing up my elementary school in a few years. The high school is a mess though. Oh well...

Speaking of school... I only have to go to first period English tomorrow! Then I leave for NY! Yay.. no school! And I don't have to go to tap cuz I'll be tired. It should be a fun day...

=P But I bet you're not overjoyed to take summer school like I am. Lol, I'm getting history out of the way because we're supposed to take it next year. This way I can take computer science or french instead. ^_^;

And I envy your lack of going to school because of construction, Alyssa. <_<

Well atleast your school gets fixed.
Mine takes years for it to start and the same ammount of time to finish. :P
Say, I've never seen my elementary school constructed once....wierd. XD

Y'see I preparing for a test next year called the Entrnce Exam and if you do good enough, you get to go to some specialized high schools. I'm trying to get to one called Stuyvesant.

=P Then I guess we have more in common than I thought, lol. I never had to take any entrance exams for high school, but I did have to show an art portfolio and be interviewed to get into the one I'm in now. @_@; Otherwise I would have gone to the catch school which has a reputation for gangs, drugs and the like. x.o; Not really the place I'd like to spend 4 years of my life, lol.

Exactly the reason why I don't want to go to those messed up high schools. :P
I'm the type of guys that look easy to pick on but is not. But I don't want to take a step close to gangsters. XD
