I'm doing MOTM for November, and I will never forget. Why? Because I have it saying so in my signature. There is no way that I can forget. :P

Haha! thats funny! XD i only remember because i looked at the calender and realized that its almost June XD :P well i get out of school on June 4 at probably noon cause that days a half day YAY AND BOO BUDGET CUTS!! XD

You get out during June 4th? I get out of school on June 3rd. :P Last year we got out at like 11 AM, but I think it will be a full day this year, ending at 3:30 AM, like any other regular school day. I hope we get out early though. On that day, I'm gonna come on here and say something like, "SUMMER VACATION STARTED TODAY!!!", or something like that. :P
 
My mom picked up a working laptop today at a yard sale for $5...the problem is, IT HAS WINDOWS 3.1! V________V I made a backup disk of Windows 98 on a floppy but I'm not able to upload it to 3.1 correctly...can anyone tell me how? All I really want is Microsoft Word so I can have a portable typing device but it seems I'm not able to do it on my own...please somebody help >_<

ACK!!! 3:30 AM!!!??? im sawing logs about then! and dreaming about speeding down the highway in a H2 of course XD but the easiest way to remember when your hosting MOTM is to write it backwards on your forehead and whenever you look in the mirrior you'll remember XD
 
June 3rd and 4th! I get out June 22nd. It sucks. It was supposed to be June 19th but stupid snow days pushed it back. Our last day is always a half day though. But we have finals... but on the last day I get to go in at 10 and take my chorus test and go home at noon. We usually start at 7:40 and get out at 2. It'll be a really easy... really pointless last day. Oh no! I just remembered... I work after school... unless the working schedule for the school year ends before finals... I hope it does! I want to relax at the end of the school year! Especially since it's so much later that all of yours...
 
PE2K became a vBulliten after the incident with the language they had that caused their proboard to be erased. I think they?ve improved the stuffiness issue, but most people didn?t seem to come back. =\ Ah well, I never really went there. Best of luck to ?em.

Err? you can?t load Win98 from a floppy as far as I know. That?s probably only a boot disk. You don?t have any Windows CDs around? Cause you know Word doesn?t come with Windows, so you?d need a CD with that on it as well.

Oops! I meant 3:30 PM. I think I made that mistake not long ago in an AIM chat. :P

If that's your full day, I'd love to hear what your half-days are like. (Lol, I couldn't resist. XD)

=X And... a $5 laptop? I'm either imagining really stupid sellers, or a computer that's really slow. @_@ Either way, I still envy you. XD;; *wants a laptop, but her parents won't buy her one ;_;*
 
That's probably the problem...but the laptop is very old, from the early 90s. It doesn't have a D drive, and on top of it all, it has 8000MB memory on it (or something like that...) I think I might just have to buy a Windows 95 something or other to upgrade it to at the mall tomorrow...I guess I got what I paid for...what could I expect from a $5 laptop >_<

Err? does it have a NIC by any chance? I guess you could? maybe port over an ISO? Ahh I really dunno what to tell you. @_@; Maybe remove the hard drive and hook it to another PC, then install Windows.

This summer, I will be coming on here for most of the day on most days, but I will also be watching TV, playing video games, going on trips, ect. I really want to go to Disney World this summer too, but my dad wants to go during the spring, but there is no time during the spring... :\
 
The lady my mom bought it off of did, apparently o_o;;

Thanks for the advice, Kairi ^^;; I have a couple of friends who are computer experts so I suppose I'll get some help from them.

Odd thing was that an hour before I discovered I was in possession of the antiquated laptop, I was making fun of an old commercial for Windows 3.1 that I saw in History Class (my teacher was showing an old doccumentary he had taped over a decade ago...)

When I finally get my summer vacation I'll just end up working. I do not want to spend my summer potting plants. No way! But that's probably what I'll end up doing since it will be nearly impossible for a teenager to find a summer job since everyone will need one. Oh well... I guess I'm stuck. But I'll probably only work three days a week or something... I really don't want to work at all. I'm so used to doing nothing all summer long... this will be my first summer since like 1st grade that I have to do something everyday. For fun though I do get to go to Disney World in the end of August. And I'll probably go swimming at the pool if I don't have to work...
 
My plans for the summer?

1) Get out of school.
2) Go to Halifax for a week (visiting all my friends <3)
3) Come back to Toronto
4) Start Summer School
5) Finish Summer School
6) Go to New Jersey with family
7) Come home
8) Go to Saskatchewan to visit family
9) Come home
10) Go to anime convention
11) Go back to school

._.;; I'm SO busy it's not even funny.
 
Plans for summer:

1) Continue school (summer school)
2) Hope that I don't fail French summer school
3) Volunteering at night
4) Repeat cycle until normal school starts again

um... fun? o.o;
