Well I'm back from my sister's play. It was good yet not all that exciting. I mean they skipped like 6 states! Yet the had someone as Mickey Mouse...was he really necessary? It was a little weird. Plus the music teacher had them sometimes sing in their upper register and those poor kids could barely hit those high notes! I'll have to have a few words with my sister to pass along to her teachers... constructive criticism of course! But all in all it was good! There was this one boy and one girl who sang a duet and she had an awesome voice! It was really good! And they both had guts to sing alone like that on stage! I know I wouldn't have wanted to do that...

I'd die if I had to sing in front of an audience. I'm scared to even sing for myself. :P

Well yeah Mickey was part of Florida... but they also had another girl actually do Florida. So Mickey was pointless. They skipped 6 states and had 8 random... well not random but not necessary either... people/places. One person was the Grand Canyon. Last I checked that's not a state. It was a cute play though...

Anyways... I'm not scared to sing in front of an audience... just as long as I'm not singing alone. I really respect those two kids who sang a duet. Her voice was so great! Especially since she's only 9 or 10! It was great. He was good too! But the girl was just so great!

Yeah it was entertaining...lol! Once again... nice choice of wording there! Their teacher must have pushed them hard... I feel kinda bad for 'em. They shouldn't be pushed to hit high notes... it's not good for their voices if their pushing either. I don't like their music teacher. Oh and my sister was part of Hawaii. She wore a grass skirt and had a lei and somehow ended up with a toy pineapple...

And yes, I did sing alone on stage before. But that was different! First of all it was in a different language so my accent would have been different. Plus it wasn't in front of my entire class and their families! It was in front of all these Italians and my friends that also had to sing. And I never sang an entire song on my own... at least I don't recall doing that. I would sing one verse and my friend would sing another. The whole group would sing the chorus line though. So it wasn't really just me... well it was... but it was still a different situation. I honestly have no clue how I ended up doing those...

The song the two kids sang or me? Well I'm guessin' you mean the kids so they sang "Carolina in the Morning" and it was so cute! It was about the 50 states so all the songs had something to do with the states. We do have a lot of good singers in the high school. One of the girls sings in my church's choir. She's such a great singer! I love her voice.

I still can't believe I ever sang solos though. It's not like me at all. I'm such a quiet person. At the moment I'm searching through all my home movies for my Italian concert... I wanna hear and see how awful it was!

I thought the title sounded familiar too. The song did too. I don't think I ever sang it though. And my singing is probably horrible! At the moment the tape is at my 5th grade spring concert. We're singing "When Your Smiling" and I look so stupid! It was before I got my braces. My teeth look awful! And the singing as a whole is pretty bad too. I can't wait to find myself singing alone...
