Aww, a dwarf frog? I've never heard of that. I saw one of those really, really small toads the other day on one of my walks. I normally don't like them, but it was so cute! It wasn't even bigger than the fingernail on my thumb.

And I used to have a little turtle. It lived for about 3 years; it was really cute, too! (I have the ability to think that ugly things are actually cute, lol. My mom said that the other day when I said that my chicken was cute. o_o)

Aren't they also called Siamese Fighting Fish? I think people would bet on which fish will kill the other first or something like that.

EDIT: Oh, yeah! I remember I had one. It only lasted 2 weeks, because my mom "accidently" flushed it down the sink. She was trying to clean the tank, but she didn't do a very good job.

I had aquatic pets once...I had two hermit crabs, and they were actually pretty cute for to be crustaceans...at least they wouldn't bite me like my cat does now =/ I think I had them about a year before I woke up one morning and saw that they were covered in some weird parasite and they died a little while after that...I was like 5 then I think...the problem with aquatic pets is that they die really quickly and when they're alive they don't show any affection to you...some of them are pretty to look at, but that's about it. At least my cat's shown me love for 8 years, and will continue to for another decade at least...I think those hermit crabs were bought for me just because my parents wanted to teach me about responsibility and death or something o_O

Hey guys! I'm home for a little while before I have to go to work. Since it was an exam day I got out at noon and I decided to come home for lunch and then go to work around 1. And I only have one more day of school! And it's a 2 hour chorus exam that'll take around 30 minutes at the most! I think it's a nice way to end the year!

Beta fish? My sister had one of those... but she never cleaned it's bowl or fed it. I felt ad for it but since it wasn't my responsibility I didn't do aything for it either. It lasted well over a year... closer to two years I think. I know it lived longer than her hamster that lived over a year and a half. We've had mulitiple goldfish as pets too... but they never lasted long...

Eew, beta fish are gross...aren't they the ones in the Wal-Mart fish department that are in the little cups that are always dead? Those things gross me out every time I go past...

Yeah, I think what you described are beta fish. They do come in little cups... and a lot of them are probably dead. I don't remember though since I haven't been into a pet store in a long time. They are really pretty fish though... just not when the bowl never gets cleaned... eww! I guess they are a little creepy though. I mean, my sister's lived well over a year with hardly any food. I think I saw her feed it 10 times at the most...

Well I guess I have to go to work now. Even though I don't want to... I think I should go. It's way to hot to be outside. Oh well... I guess I'll talk to you guys when I get back later! Bye...

I think what you're talking about, Kay, is what I had. Are you sure it was a Toad?

Oh, lordy, I slept until about 11:00 am today.

Is staying in the bed till 11 so bad? I mean one time I was in the bed till 2 PM. XD

You wanna know why the bettas at those stores are dead? it's animal abuse! they hardly ever treat thier fish, they never tell the new owner anything about the fish, they keep bettas in those small cups filled with filthy water... ick! I NEVER go to stores like those to get my bettas...

Anybody hear of the 'betta in a vase' fad? what's your opinion on it?
