Is PC gaming pretty fun? I've been thinking about buying some Steam games, but overall PC gaming has never really interested me D:

Well if you are a big fan of what PC has to offer, then yes.
Since im a huge fan of RTS games i adore the PC a lot.
I have only 2 Steam games however xD

I have two games on my Steam account as well (TF2 and Portal 2), but I don't even have Steam on my computer since I can never find the motivation to play them.

My steam games are Borderlands 2 and Terraria, and i seem to play them a lot aswell, i have abandoned my PS3 lately for these games plus the game i cannot stop talking about xD

Honestly, on paper, PC gaming is better than console gaming. Steam sales mean you can get great games dirt cheap, and for the most part (at least until the new consoles come out) PC games look better than their console counterparts. I just have never really been able to get into having to sit at a desk using a mouse/keyboard to game when I can be relaxing on a couch/bed using a controller. :/

That said, I do plan on getting more into PC gaming, since I have a huge backlog of games I've gotten on sale on Steam. PC is also my platform of choice for L4D2 and a few other games as well.

This is my biggest reason haha. I guess the reason that I love Pokémon so much because I can just kick back in my comfortable bed and play Pokémon without having to sit up in an uncomfortable chair XD

Ohmygoodness with all these new games coming out, I might have to update my system again :< and I didn't do much PC gaming this year :( Call of Duty Ghosts needs 40 GB. FORTY! At this rate, terabyte drives won't even be enough :(

Dogs? Werent they already in like CoD 4 or so? xD

I prefer a silly shooter like Borderlands over CoD cause... i like Borderlands' story more :D

Well console gaming is great for the games that require some space, but i would never play a RTS on console, the controller just doesnt have enough buttons for every action made xD

I think PC gaming is a lot more fun (and cheaper) than console gaming. Because once you have the PC, there's no need to purchase an additional console or any more accessories once you buy the game (unless you want to buy stuff for the game then that's a whole 'nother ballgame there). Plus, all you need is an internet connection to play multiplayer and you're pretty much set.

This is mainly why i adore PC gaming, and mainly you dont need to sacrifice a TV for it either (except for handhelds). Our PS3 is in the living room and everyone wants to watch TV so its more catching dust than that its on.

However a lot of people would still have to sacrifice some money to get an updated graphics card in order for most PC games to function properly with full frame rate and little to no lag

Yeah, on the other hand PC games stay PC games, as where with PS3 and Xbox always comes out a new version which you need to buy the system+the games and if it even cannot play old-gen games unless you buy them from their store *evil look at the PS3 Slim*... i dunno what will eventually be cheaper and better

that was my main problem back then when I wanted to do some PC gaming so bad but couldn't. The graphics card was the bigger problem, and since I was using an old laptop back then I didn't have the money to shell out a better compy.

With this one, I can game just fine. :D I can also run Minecraft and WoW without any problems.

I have a decent graphics card aswell on my laptop, but my laptop isnt suited that well for PC gaming... most games i need to change the graphics to the lowest settings to have the FPS at at least 40-ish.
