Layers. Lots and lots of layers. Although I normally just go with a T-Shirt and a sweatshirt, if it's really cold, I'll wear a T-Shirt, Long Sleeved Shirt, and a Sweatshirt. Never a coat that. Too bulky for me :P

You get used to it. That's basically it. Oh and the purity of the sight of snow helps a lot too. All that fluffy soft snow, at your disposal, not to mention the mayhem it brings in the right hands. Oh and here's a bonus cat photo. Super blurry and grainy, but its all I got. And like most cats, the jerk wouldn't sit still for me. But I loved him so much. He was a right terror in the end to all the other cats!

I'm pretty sure it didn't even climb above zero here in Minnesota.

And the overnight low is supposed to be -10.

These are all in Fahrenheit for you Aussies and Europeans (and you Canadians too lazy to convert). 0F is something like -18 C. -10 F is about -23 C.

My mom was complaining to me earlier about having to turn on the AC where she lives, because it climbed up into the 80s or something. Apparently she can't get into the holiday spirit with it being so warm there.

Meanwhile, I'm sitting here with it being cold, and snow still on the ground. She kept asking me if I had snow yes I still have snow it hasn't gone away yet. :(

Today was very comfortable here for me! It just reached 60 degrees and that is exactly how I like it. Last week it was so incredibly hot which was making it hard to get into the Christmas spirit.

I know how you feel, the weather we have in Australia is generally hot at Christmas because it's during the summer. This is why most Australians like to celebrate Christmas a little differently to you Americans, heck there's even this commercial for the Aldi supermarket chain (which has been expanding a lot in Australia) which has people dressed as Santa riding on surfboards. It's really odd I gotta say.

Lol, there couldn't be anything more opposite than that to me. I think of snow and a warm fire... or just ass cold and a warm fire. That's what we get here!
