I am never satisfied in the present. There's always something I want to be different than it is. I'm not unhappy, though. Not generally, anyway. I just always think things could be better than they are, because they could be. I'm not sure if I appreciate the present or not, though. Its pretty complicated and conflicting.

I'm satisfied with the present right now, which is why I haven't been talking about the past, except for maybe when I want to get a good laugh with a friend from high school about events that happened in the four years we were there.

Have you considered trying not to think about not being satisfied? Perhaps trying isn't the best way to put it - but just putting that dissatisfaction to a side. I mean, things could be better right? But they're not, and whatever :3

Things can always be better. But that's like counting to infinity. You might be able to approach it, but you'll never really get to it. So appreciate how close you've gotten.

I don't even appreciate getting close (but she does)

I don't even know how good things could get : | Maybe it's because these days have been happy for you, Dipu ;)

Nah, I think myself as destined for something, a hero of some sort! But for whom? For whom shall I fight, and who shall be my pretty maiden ;P

True that, John. Maybe I should have responded a few months ago LOL

And oh god, Marina and the Diamonds. My friend would adore you, Nick.

Everyone adores me.

...But really, if you listen to the lyrics (they're at the bottom), that song is literally me. Every single thought posed in it are thoughts that I have.

I'm not really a Daft Punk fan. I've never really gotten into them, but strangely, I love all of their productions on other artists. More specifically, their productions on Yeezus.

I think they do electronic music mostly. They used to be a regular rock band I think, as kids, but then they got their hands on a synthesizer :P They'll compose whatever though, and that's part of what I like about them. There's something for everyone - as long as that someone is okay with electronic timbres :P

Daft Punk does have some good music out there as some of their songs are some I'd listen to such as "Around the World", "Harder Better Faster Stronger", and more recently, even "Get Lucky".
I think listing their top three hits and saying "some good music" is a little strange. Usually labels send out songs that would receive the most success in a commercial market, and those three songs absolutely fall into that category, but to use them as examples of them having good songs just makes me wonder. Artists' best songs generally aren't the ones that appease the general public.

Then again, music is all subjective.

That's what you'd like us to believe :3

I do like all 3 of those, however. Get Lucky is the easiest to groove to. Imagine reclining in the sand to a rosy sunrise on the beach of a tropical island.

Uggh, you guys are making me wish I had the internet to go look up songs on youtube. Oh well, I've haerd of Daft Punk before, but the only song that comes to mind is "Harder Better Faster Stronger". I like the song, so maybe next time I have some free time at college I can go on the wifi and look up more of them.

While you're not doing asian math tings eh? XD My new favourite from them is in my siggy :D It's been playing nonstop for I think three days now.

Hmm, I didn't even think of it that way.. but then again, I'm not too familiar with all of Daft Punk's discography, so maybe those are just the ones that I seemed to like the most. I'm sure though that if I listened to other works by them I could like them more than the three I listed.
