And the Hunger Games is a fantastic series! I devoured the books in like 4 days. Has anyone seen "Catching Fire" yet? Opinions if you have? :D

I've seen it. I loved it. I need to finish reading Mockingjay, I've been slacking it because I've been writing in my own time. I was just.....aaaaaaah.

I saw it at the midnight premier. It blew my expectations out of the water. It portrayed the book perfectly and was overall really well done.

I was curious to see how the actors portrayed the characters in the book such as Finnick and Johanna, and needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. Sam Claflin and Jena Malone were perfect casts for them.

Mockingjay was the weakest book in the series in my opinion. I just didn't find it quite as enjoyable or captivating as the previous two. Still a fantastic book though. You definitely should finish it soon!

Movies, eh? I rarely watch movies lately, even though sometimes I watch them through TV if I want to. I only watched the first Narnia movie when I was on theater when I was a kid.

I don't watch movies as often as I used to, unfortunately. Last time I've seen a complete movie was about four or five months ago, I think, which was called Beautiful Creatures. Viewed it at home; not at the theaters. Might watch a new movie during the holidays, since I'll have nothing to do then. Not exactly sure which, though. Maybe I'll try The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (which releases in two days, if I remember correctly) to see what the buzz is about, as I've been hearing people talk about it a lot during the past couple of days. :b

My exams are finally over and done with! Now I need to plan for what to do during the days when I'm not at Singapore for the holidays. Hmm. Any suggestions, lovely people of the DCC? :3

Ah, I've seen Catching Fire as well. It was simply fantabulous. It matched the book so perfectly it felt too good to be true. Okay okay I won't spoil it for those who have yet to watch it hahaha. I can say that you're gonna LOVE it. <3

Catching Fire? I haven't seen that movie yet, maybe I should see it someday. Btw, I heard there are some movies that are based on novels besides of the movie you mentioned, like for example, Harry Potter or Narnia, or in my country's case, Laskar Pelangi.

Haha yeah I'm going to Singapore this Saturday. :D Perhaps I might as well go visit my friend in Sarawak - one of the states of my country. She's come home from Australia for the break and I've been dying to meet her. But besides that, I don't have any plans as of yet... As for refreshing places, I think the beach suits that criteria perfectly! /me adds to checklist xD It's too short a break to go for any long holidays I think, so Netherlands would have to wait~

You guys should watch Catching Fire ASAP. Personal recommendation. <3

As for Hunger Games, I loved both movies but haven't read my books. My sister liked them more than the movies though, so I might give them a go at some point.

I love the books but GRRM is definitely very wordy. I'm taking a break from reading them. I read like so much over the past few months!

Oh, you reminded me that I must read the book that my mom give me. I haven't reading that book for months. That book is not the story or novel book though, but sort of motivator kind.

The last few books I read, I never did finish. I ended up just returning them to the library. Not that they weren't interesting, but I guess you could say it was a matter of preferring to do something else and trying to find the time. I have the three Hunger Game books to read on my iPad along with John Green's The Fault in Our Stars, which I've wanted to read for a long time now. I just have to put myself down and read them, but I'm always on here instead!
