Arryn
Arryn glances down at her legs, the tights over right shin is singed leaving a bright red mark on her skin. She winces as the pain sets in.

Rex claps her shoulder, "Keep strong, Arryn. You don't have to take on all these burdens."

That would be the day... she smiles at him in thanks, reaches down and pats the burn in attempt to ebb the pain.

"Tulips' Gardevoir will teleport her to us when she wakes, so I guess we can head off now." Arryn reaches past Gray and opens the door. The fresh air hits her burned skin and she sighs blissfully at the feeling. I can't even afford a burn heal... another scar to add to the collection.

Gray

I sit in place, Unsure of my feelings. I watch her go outside, not sure of what to make of her.

I notice Rex's arm on my shoulder as I sat, and shook him off me.

"Darkness is all I know. Whenever I need to shine light on something..." I Let a few sparks from my hand loose. "I let my power do the illuminating."

Darren

"Return!" Darren pulled out three pokeballs and returned his pokemon as he walked up to the fountain. Sitting down, Darren looked at Houndoom, "What now?" Houndoom shrugged. "Oh, I forgot." Darren reached into his pockets and pulled out a pile of crushed food from the restaurant. "It's a little smashed but, I think it's still good" Darren puts a pile of the food in front of Houndoom. "We kinda had to run before we got a chance to eat, so we might as well eat it now". Darren looked over at the Hawlucha that was watching him, What is that pokemon doing here anyway?.

Tulip slowly awoke from her slumber. She rubbed her eyes and touched her hair. She looked around and saw the note.

"Hmmmm... Okay..." She said smiling a bit. She took out her pokeball and sent out Gardevoir to make sure she was okay too. Gardevoir just woke up too. She was wondering what happened as she looked around at the house. She went to the bathroom looking at herself. She brushed her blonde hair noticing it has gotten a little much longer. She looked at herself. Her dress was still in perfect condition. Her pearls looked shiny and beautiful. Gardevoir looked beautiful too. Tulip smiled then turned to gardevoir.

"Ready to teleport to my friends?" She asked smiling. Gardevoir nodded and grabbed Tulips hand. The two teleport to her friends.

"Oh! Hey guys!" She smiled seeing all her friends. her pink aura was glowing more powerful then ever. Since she had been sleep for so long her aura was waiting. She smiled looking more beautiful then ever.

"So uh... what are we doing?" She asked tilting her head a little bit.

Arryn
They didn't head off too long ago and Arryns' leg was still stinging with pain though she keeps a straight face and walks beside Shadow, ignoring the sensation with clenched fists.

"Oh! Hey guys!"

You would think she would be used to Tulip's ability to jump out from nowhere, but she isn't.

Arryn sighs hard at the surprise, her heart racing.

"I'm glad you're better," Arryn manages a painful smile and rubs her shin against her calf. "We're off to the park to find Darren."

Gray

I slouch myself on the apartment hall, Brushing my thoughts of Arryn away, and instead, Focused on her friends.

The one that I hate the most is undoubtedly that tulip girl... But she's strong. I think of the peaceful giant that was once in the same room as me. Rex was his name? Unlike most people, I actually didn't dislike him. He seems like the type of guy I would become 'friends' with... If I ever wanted friends.

I smirked, And as I did, I thought of the man who I called a failure.

Hmm... Though he did seem like he was weak, He did manage to bring that scrap of metal to my neck... Hmph... I hate people like him, But for some reason, Its guys like him that make fighting so enjoyable.

I soon closed my eyes as I tried to sleep on the wall. As I did, soon after a moment of silence, vivid images of Arryn appeared in my head. I frowned.

"... Get out of my head already! Damn her! I can't think of anything else for two seconds without that weirdo popping up!" I growled to myself, sitting up, no longer slouched.

I soon sighed and decided to quit trying to fall asleep.

"I'll just rest my eyes..." I said to myself quietly, Hoping to avoid the inevitable thoughts of Arryn.

Arryn
Arryn finally crosses into the park, finally. It's been a long day and the sun will be setting before long. She angles her head back, enjoying the warmth on her skin. Soon it will be night and I'll be cold, as usual.

Her leg is still sore, but not as obvious anymore. I won't blame him for it, he was out of control and wasn't in his right mind.

Shadow seems to finally notice the tear in her tights and touches her tongue gingerly to the burnt skin. Arryn hisses.

Nope, it still hurts like hell.

Her Absol glares up at her, annoyed that Arryn did nothing to treat it.

"What? If you have money for a burn heal then please, hand it over." I'm the epitome of cold, that move Gray unleashed was very powerful…

Arryn strolls away from her worried – usually indifferent – Absol and scans the park for any sign of Darren. I really hope he hasn't skipped town. The thought worries her, they needed to be a team more than ever and although she is quite the introvert, and she had no issue adding Darren to her small group of friends.

Getting him to warm up to Gray might be a challenge, she ponders, saddened by the mere thought. We can't afford another falling out.

Darren

Finishing the mashed blob of food, Darren looked up at the sky, "Sun's goin' down, ready to head out?". Houndoom looked over to it's trainer, "Doom" it said, nodding in agreement. Darren stood up and pulled out his katana, checking to make sure it was sharp. Darren sheathed the katana and re-positioned the sheath, "Then let's get moving, the sooner we get out of this city the better. I'm really tired of running into people that want me dead". The two began walking towards the park gate. Although no matter where we go, someone is going to try killing us....

Arryn
Where is he… Arryn continues to look, but she's always been somewhat short-sighted.

Shadow's fur stands on edge, as it usually does around other Pokemon and Arryn perks up, looking in the same direction as her Absol.

There he is!

Arryn quickly rushes over to the gate and blocks his path.

"Darren," she says with a smile after finally finding him. "Still interested in being a group…?"

Rex

Rex smiles as Tulip appears. "Well, well! Sleeping Beauty finally woke up! Come walk with us."

When they reach the park, he glances around. "No sign of Darren... I think I know how to find him." He clears his throat, puts his hands up to his mouth, and yells at the top of his lungs.

"HEY HAWK! WE'RE HERE!"

Hawk

Hawlucha still follows Darren, but when he hears his master shout, he leaps into action. He lands in front of Darren, arms outspread to block his path. He silently points toward the park entrance, willing Darren to go.

Darren

Hawlucha leaps out and lands in front of Darren then points toward the gate. "Ok... I was heading there anyway but thanks for pointing out the exit?". As Darren and Houndoom near the exit Arryn runs up and blocks their path. "Still interested in joining our group?" she says with a smile. Darren rubs the back of his neck for a brief second before speaking. "I guess. I mean Houndoom and I have nothing better to do. We were gonna leave town since we didn't feel like sitting around waiting to be hunted down by people. Houndoom, wanna go with 'em?" Houndoom looks at both people then shrugs. "I take that as a yes." Darren looked up at Arryn, "Sure we'll join".

Arryn
"There's just one more thing... Gray, the guy from earlier, he's maintained." It makes him sound like some caged animal. "He won't be a problem anymore and if he is... I'm sure we can handle it again." But he won't be, she hopes stubbornly.

"Rex sure can anyway," she turns her smile to Rex.

Darren

"We'll take care of each other" Rex said, clapping his hand on Darren's shoulder. Darren pushed the hand off and looked up at the giant, "Um, yeah". "There's just one more thing" Arryn said, "Gray....he's maintained". Not him again.... the mention of Gray puts an obvious look of irritation on Darren's face. "He better not be a problem". Darren and Houndoom began walking out of the park. Darren stopped and turned around "Uh, hehe, where are we staying for the night?".

Arryn
"He better not be a problem."

"He won't," Arryn assures him.

"He seems to respect me, so I think I can handle him. Even if he's our friend, I think it would be fun to teach him some manners."

If you don't mind getting hit back that is, Arryn reaches down to rub the irritated flesh absent mindedly.

"Uh, hehe, where are we staying for the night?"

"I've been staying in this run-down apartment for about a week now... it's not very spacious but it beats sleeping outside, right?" Arryn chuckles.

Darren

"I've been staying in this run-down apartment..... beats sleeping outside right?" Arryn chuckled. Darren shrugged, "Sleeping outsides's not that bad. Although it'd be nice to sleep inside for once". I don't even remember the last time I slept indoors."Houndoom", the fire dog said as it nodded. Darren stepped aside, "Lead the way". Hopefully that Gray guy doesn't try anything.... I finally got my blade all cleaned up and shiny.

====================
POKERUS VIRUS, ACT 2
====================

"..... Such a shame... Gray had so much potential." Giovanni said to himself in disappointment. "He could have made things so much easier..."

He got up and disabled the device that he secretly attached to Gray in order to view his actions and conversations. "I won't need this anymore..."

"Gray is powerful, He fights on emotion. Though he chooses not to show it, He's like a little kid. His emotion fueled power is what makes him both strong and weak... It was my fault for thinking he could go against people he had set relations to."

He looked at a map on the wall that contained all regions. The neighboring one being Johto.

"Knowing Gray, He'll most likely give away my current location... So it's time to move. I'll set my eyes on the Goldenrod Radio Tower. If I can't get Arryn through Gray, Then I'll get her through her Pokemon. I'll get a few scientist to experiment with the... 'Pokerus' Virus." He said to himself with a devious grin.

"The Infection will corrupt their Pokemon!"

Tulip happily skipped along with the rest of the group. Then it happened again... This pain she felt. She knew doom was coming but she didn't want to make a huge scene again so she bit her lips. Then she slowly collapsed.

"Uh... Uh... Guys... Something bad is about to happen.... We need to get out of this city.... Now....Lets go." She said breathing deeply, then standing up. She seemed different. She was like an adult. She was so composed and she was so mature... That was new for her.

"So... I think we should go to Johto. I know people there. People that can help me. We should go raid some places and get supply's... I don't know how were going to get to Johto but we need to figure it out... Now!"

Darren

Why am I even going with these people? I don't know them... Darren looked down at Houndoom who seemed to be in a good mood. Houndoom seems happy though, so I guess we could hang around for awhile... Darren looked at the three people he was walking with. A giant, a girl who doesn't have a problem hanging out with her assassin, and a girl that doesn't even look like she belongs in this dump of a city.. Darren looked down as he kicked a rock. This group will probably only last a few days. Then we'll all be at each other's throats, they'll probably try to kill me, then I'll be on my own... like always. But at least I've got somewhere to sleep for the night.

Suddenly Tulip collapsed. Darren heard her fall and instinctively drew his katana then spun in a circle looking for someone that shot something. Seeing nobody, Darren sheathed his katana and turned to help Tulip, but she had already stood back up. "Something bad is about to happen.... we should go to Johto" Tulip said. "Bad things happen all the time. In case you haven't noticed, some of us have been fighting for our lives today." Darren said, crossing his arms and staring at Tulip. "And why Johto? It's not like it's anybody than this hell-hole." Darren spread his arms out as he spoke.
