Alex didn't respond to Rikki. He couldn't. She was going through enough as it is. There was no point on making her even more nervous. The fact of the matter is, Travis a, evil, manipulative person. Alex knew him well. He never forgives, and he never forgets. What's worse is he could turn the most harmless phrase, take in out of context, and find a way to make it sound bad. Travis stepped forward from behind the three others, smiling at them. He turned to the Council and began.
"Let us begin in the beginning, based on the reports of my brother, the honorable Alexander Azrael." Alex shook his head as he said this. "The three Dark Angels, Rikkilyn, Angel, and Alex, arrived in the human city of New York. From there, they began tracking down the heir of our beloved Kingdom. Angel was the first to betray. In a single day, Angel, one of the beloved chosen with powers of the Darkness Kingdom, betrayed her home, her country, her people, in a day. One single day. Please, Council, heed my words carefully, because they get better, or worse, depending on what perspective you wish to view this from."
Alex looked at Travis, not speaking. He knew this wouldn't end well.
"I would like to point out the reason Angel decided to betray. It was because she met a boy from the Light Kingdom, and, for that boy, betrayed our greatest goal. She had betrayed us for a complete stranger. Wait, noble ones, it get's better. It was Rikkilyn then, who was approached by the Light Angels, the newly formed rebellion against both Kingdoms of Light and Dark, but mostly Dark. She joined eagerly." Alex looked at Travis, angrily. "My brother Alex, noble defender of the Dark Kingdom, approached her, in hopes that she would not join the Rebellion, but she would not be dissuaded. Alex's friend, one he had known since childhood, had betrayed in a heartbeat-"
Alex screamed at Travis. "That's not how it happened you-"
Travis continued right away. "As you can see, Council, Alex has been through much because of his friend's betrayal. It took a lot out of him. But please allow me to get to the worst of it all. While Rikkilyn and Angel now were with the Rebellion, the Noble Dark Angel Alexander continued on his quest for the heir. Even when all others had abandoned him. Angel, Rikkylin, they both just left him to do this important task for the Darkness Kingdom on his own."
Alex felt like doing something, but couldn't. He felt bad. He felt terrible. From how Travis explained it, he felt he might have a big hand in this whole mess, like it was his fault Rikkilyn was even here in the first place.
"Now, as for possible punishments, I suggest this: Angel and Rikkilyn are both traitors, and therefore should be punished as traitors. But let me explain the difference between the two traitors. Angel betrayed for 'love', for lack of a better word. She was basically harmless to the Darkness Kingdom at this point. However Rikkilyn..." He shot he a glance, and continued to smile. "...Rikkilyn betrayed the Darkness Kingdom so she could see it burn to the ground. She still wanted to find the heir, but she wanted now to find it for the Rebellion, not the Darkness Kingdom. She wanted to use the noble heir..." He gave a glance at Raike, and smiled at him. "...and us his power against us. She betrayed in order to harm us even more. So I suggest Angel be put to death, perhaps not as painful one. As for Rikkilyn, I humbly suggest we either torture her to the utmost extent, or kill her, painfully. I request that if she were to be put to death by traitor's death, which is the most painful, I humbly implore the Council to let me be the executioner, or....my brother Alex."
Alex's eyes suddenly shot open. "What?!" Travis smiled at him.
"Brother, don't you understand? The traitor Rikkilyn must be put to death, and who better than one of her best friends? Of course, I would never suggest for the noble heir Raike to dirty his hands with such a deed, but myself or Alex can be suitable."
Alex shook his head in disbelief. "You are beyond-" But before he could finish, Travis turned back to the Council and continued.
"Council, I will leave you to decide how this should all happen, but humbly would like you to look into my options, given the evidence uncovered from the human world. I also suggest you pay the Rebellion as an even possibly bigger threat than the Light Kingdom, and request that you send silencers to kill them before they attempt to destroy us all. Of course, I am willing to go myself if you wish it...Anyways, that concludes my report." Travis politely bowed to the Council and moved to the side of Alex and stood there, smiling at all three of them before turning back to the Council.
