A legendary could hold its own against a Gundam for at least a little while before it gets its *** thoroughly kicked.

The weaker Digimon couldn't stand a chance against even a grunt MS. Some can only be taken on by true Gundams, and there are a few (like Omnimon, who you just mentioned) that can defeat any MS.

ZAFT actually tried to use EMPs to take out EA mobile suits. Afterwards, all mobile suits were hardened against EMPs, thus rendering that tactic moot.

Yeah I know..but still if you could use a different thingy to kill all their sensors, then use several EMPs then they'd be ko'ed pretty easily..

An NJamer or NJammer Canceler could easily take care of that.
