    Abnegation [ab-ne-ga-tion] to refute or to deny.

    Abnegation here at PC, who most of us know as Gavin (or Gav for short) has actually made his stay here at PokéCommunity for one year today. I know I was going to do this earlier today, but er, I forgot. ;o;

    ANWAY ... The point being, Gavin's one year anniversary is today and within just one year he has been known by a lot. For some he's been known as the greatest friend ever, for others he's been known as a total jerk. :\ He's had an up and down first year, but he still stuck around. A lot of us love him, and you should too (but we won't force you). He's been a great attribute to the forums with his known CSS skills and his developing graphics skills. He's known for his great personality and he's known for his looks - if any of you have seen him. :3 So, here's to his first year and hoping he'll be around for many more.

    Oh and Gavin, you Better be around for many more year. >:| ...And I hoped you liked your lengthy thread, I didn't know what to say, so I just came up with something. =P

    Congratulations on your one year anniversary, Gav. You've been awfully helpful to everyone you've met, and I'm not alone when I say that I'm jealous of your many computer-related skills. We've had a rough start (if you remember that awful October night in TCTI...or was it in November?), though you've proved to be an incredibly cool guy in the end.

    Now, you have four more years to catch up to the years I have now. G'luck! (b'')b

    Even if we did met only recently, you had already found a way into my life and trust.​

    Dude, you're amazing. Congratulations on making it; one year is a long time. Not only are you an extremely talented CSS stylist, but your Graphic Desiging skills are also above average. I haven't been checking out your ROM Hack, to be honest, but I'm sure that it's bloody great as well. When you first came here, everyone already wanted you. From your rapid rise to fame over Pokecommunity, or your constant flirting in real life, it seemed like it was a breeze to you. Perhaps it was, or you probably struggled; however, you still put a reassuring smile on your posts and moved on.

    Yeah, I know that life constantly put you down a lot of times, but I'm more proud that you were able to stood back up each and every moment you fell. From the past to the present, you were in a lot of drama. Gavin, I hope that your future will be less dramatic.

    At first, I didn't think that I would get to talk to you. We should thank Sam for starting our friendship. If it wasn't for him, I would've never dared myself to post on your profile. To be honest with you, I first thought of you as intimidating. However, as soon as we first began chatting, it came clear to me that you're just like anyone else. We all go to the same problems and I finally came to realize that. Ever since, it's been coolio.

    I want to thank you for giving me the chance to meet cool people like Eimear and Georgia. Seriously, our Skype conversations are amazing. I had loads of fun talking to you lots. You guys usually make my day through our robotic voices and tendency to eat chips at the most unnecessary times. Also, I would like to thank you for creating my amazing theme and signature. The CSS coding was impossible to understand, so I thank you once again for creating it for me. Even though Scizor is your favorite Pokemon, you still let me use the icons. It was very touching of you to name your Scizor after me.

    It turns out that you are a Docile natured Togekiss. :( What movesets do you want to learn?​

    A guy from Ireland who likes to sing when he's tipsy, an amazing friend who would never let me down, the guy who is made out of chocolate.... you truely are a brother to me. As our life goes on, you're one of the few here that I still want to keep in touch with. :) Happy one year anniversary, Gavin.

    Hah, a few months ago I could never imagine writing what I'm about to write, lol. But anyway!

    We didn't like each other one bit when you first started going here, yet everyone ~loved~ you. This eventually led to a fight in TCTI but oh well we got over it. But nowadays, I can safely say you're a friend. You're an absolute riot when drunk, especially on Skype. So yeah, happy anniversary Gavin!

    (Wow, Shivi. Nice intro. So much for not knowing what to say XD)

    PS: maybe if I add beads I'll be cool or something idk

    Many congrats for lasting on PC for a year, Gav. You've always been one of the most nicest and caring people I've met on this forum, and it would be a shame to see that go anytime soon. There have been hard times for you but don't forget, as a friend I want to keep supporting you through many of those times, and I'm sure many others do too. Keep your chin up always, and never forget that you're an amazing person. :]

    Honestly, my reaction to this was "Wait.. only one year?" xD;

    Reason being is the fact that it seems like you've been around here longer than that. Feels like you've been friends with some of us for a lot longer than one year, somehow. Maybe two years, or I wouldn't be surprised if it were three, even. xD Probably because of that fact that you got well known so fast, and for a lot people, getting known at all could take years.

    I also remember that you left at one point, but I'm glad you came back, and hopefully you'll stick around.

    & We need to talk more.. I don't think we have much in a while. D:

    All the standard happy anniversary and all of that. After about... 14 people saying it, I guess it can get pretty repetitive. So, Happy Anniversary, all the best for the future, whatever you choose to do.

    Congrats on your one year :D Obviously I haven't been on here all that long but it's easy to see that you're really involved in things and people look up to you and all, so yeah, that's really cool. Maybe one day I'll get that far. :P Yeah, thanks for making Eimear come on here and therefore making me come on here, I've already met some pretty cool people (Borey... seeing as he put me in his o.o) and I know I'm gonna meet loads more... AND IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU :O

    Heh. Well what can I say? O: I have only known you for around a month now... but I feel we've known eachother a long time. (: You constantly cheer me up when you do all those funny things on Skype with Sam. (BEADS FTW) XD Plus, we may be meeting up in the Summer, which I hope we do 'cause that'd be totally awesome. :D You have an awesome personality too. ~ I'm proud to call you my friend, and hope I know you for many many more years to come. :3 Ily. <3

    xD, we never talked, but I've seen you around and about PC a hell of a lot, and decided to stop by and say congratulations on being here for a year! (I bet it feels like only a week, no? xD) I hope you stay around for another year or two, and all the best!

    Congrats. I can't say I know you all that well, but I think you are a decent person.
    or at least should be one if Siggy thinks you are.

    Sticking it out one year is always an accomplishment, mainly because it means you're not just an average nubcaek user. ;3

    But anyways, stay cool, and stay nice. PC is a great place if you have the patience to deal with the occasional appearance of the "Drama Llama".
