Because the Daycare is not only for breeding but for leveling up too. Be careful with it because if you have egg moves they can be erased with leveling up if another move is learned at the new level and will erase the first move(which unless switched are egg moves on default).

Nope the following are the only things that are Baton Passed:

* Aqua Ring
* Block (both on you and your opponent)
* Confusion
* Curse (when used by a Ghost on the Baton Passer)
* Embargo
* Focus Energy
* Gastro Acid
* Lansat Berry
* Ingrain
* Leech Seed
* Lock-On
* Magnet Rise
* Mean Look (both on you and your opponent)
* Mind Reader
* Perish Count
* Power Trick
* Spider Web (both on you and your opponent)
* Substitute (keeps its HP)
* Stat boosts / drops (Curse, DD etc)

Choice items only effect the holder so arnt passed.

No, the boost only matters if it uses an attack that increases the power and then Baton Passes it. It works only like that.

Now the ditto is 33. Why'd this happen?

Did you go through Stark Mountain? I think that activates it... get Buck to go with you and she will take the stone and I guess your rival appears, also after you see him and Palmer at the battle tower.

In the battle tower how many battles happen before you face tycoon/boss?

You face the Tycoon on the 21st and the 49th battles.

His pokemon on the 21st battle are: Dragonite, Milotic and Rhyperior.
His pokemon on the 49th battle are: Heatran, Regigigas and Cresselia.
You get 20bp each time you beat him.

Also, make certain that the date on your DS is set properly. The game might not even be aware of the correct day.

Actually, I did some calculations and...

Spoiler:

Using the Bike in fourth gear would gain about 10 exp. a second (or less). So that would give 600 exp. points a minute. 60 minutes are in an hour so about 36000 exp. are gained in an hour (if you had the patience). If you just held one button in the Fuego Ironworks on a certain moving panel, you would gain about 2 exp. a second rather than 10 so that would yield 7200 exp. points an hour instead.

On the other hand, there is an ace trainer in route 228 (sandstorm route) that has an Ambipom, Rapidash, and Chansey.
The Ambipom gives about 2400 exp. points.
The Rapidash gives about 2400 exp. points.
The Chansey gives about 3200 exp. points.
That would add up to 8000 exp. points a battle. 4000 if an exp. share is used. If you disable battle animations and have the battle mode on Set rather than Shift, one battle and the Vs. Seeker charging in between should take about 5 minutes with high level Pokemon. That should be able to fit about 15 battles in an hour. 120000 experience points would be gained in an hour. 60000 if an exp. share is used.

So, battling is always more efficient than the day care.

Too long;Didn't read version: Battling a female ace trainer on the sandstorm route always provides more experience than the Day Care Center even with an exp. share. I just felt like sharing.

The vitamins only provide 10 EVs each and can only be used 10 times for each stat. Therefore, using vitamins would give 100 free EVs. You could then EV train the rest of the 152 EVs to get to 252 EVs or where ever you wanted your EVs to equal. Did this help or do I need to clarify more?

Yes. To do so you'll need to battle every single trainer and beat/capture the legendaries. I presume you want help seeing Palkia/Dialga, right? If so, go to Celestic town and in one of the houses in the upper half, someone will show you a picture of Palkia/Dialga
