6th Gen Diantha

Am I the only one who thought beating Diantha was easier then most of the gym leaders/Elite 4? My A lot of my Pokemon were the same level or one level under her Pokemon and I beat her rather easily. I was a bit disappointed because I was looking forward to a great battle but it turned out to be really boring and simple.

Diantha has a pretty strong team. I was pleasantly challenged the first time I played through the game. Her personality is a little odd, considering the dialogue isn't voiced-over and context is hard to grasp, but I appreciate seeing her in the game and getting to know her a little before the end.

Never did like the whole "your rival is always ahead of you" approach from previous games... especially since you would constantly beat them in challenges. I guess that's suppose to motivate you?

Diantha's team could use a bit of improvements here and there. Hawlucha and Tyrantrum do not suit her at all, and her not using a Furfrou nor a Meinshao is a missed opportunity, and it helps lower her disadvantage against Steel types. If your team is below 10 levels, Mega Gardevoir will be a pain to beat, as what my brother had experienced. Compared to other champions, she's at least better than Wallace, Lance, Iris, Steven, and Alder, but she pales in comparison to Blue and Cynthia.

For me she was the easiest champion I've ever fought (and I've fought all of them). I wish she had appeared in the story more. After we saw her in the Monorail she practically didn't appear for the rest of the story. I was sure she would help us defeat Lysander. So in the end she was less useful than Wallace at helping us defeat the evil team (at least Wallace helped us think of where Rayquaza could be).

She sucks, weak Pokemon team and dat line "I am an actress with a side-hobby as a Pokemon trainer." Like really?

How about "Hello, my name is Jennifer, I am a full time lawyer and I play Tennis as a side-hobby, like, 2~3 hours a day, you know, and I have 5 Olympic gold medals in tennis btw."

Come on Game Freak, you can do better than that. We all know what it takes to be the best. To be the very best, it not only takes adaptation skill and talent, the most important element of success is hard work. There are plenty of talented people in the world, what distinguish the difference between decent and the very best is the amount of time and practice one puts in. The very best spends countless hours everyday, fighting countless battles, losing a lot of them, learn from the mistakes and get better. Even if Diantha is somehow that ridiculous where what she learns in 1 battle is equal to what other people learn by fighting 1,000 battles, she deserves no respect.

I'm indifferent towards Diantha, mainly because she was pretty much indifferent towards me throughout the whole story. I give her credit for her theme and her artwork(for the most part) but she was so 2 dimensional like the rest of Pokemon X that she didn't really stand out. If Game Freak made Diantha, or any character for that matter, have more depth, they'd really stand out in the flatness of Pokemon X. And battle-wise, I swept her whole team with Gardevoir, although I've done that with every champion so it's nothing unusual.

Tbh, i dont like her that much. She is a bit random for a champion i think. As for her team, i think they are weak since i used only Charizard to beat her team. Yes a single charizard :/ Didnt even have a problem. May be coz i overlvled my charizard. He was lvl 90 lol. Yes, i only lvled my Charizard and Chestnaught. Others were about 70s while those 2 were 90.
