Name: Felicie "Number" Schäfer
Gender: Female
Species: Nidorina
Appearance:
Human Age: 9
Side/Type: Valoran Army
Personality: Number is highly intellectual despite being very young. She will not do or say anything without thinking them through first, because she knows that others are more than willing to twist what she says into something completely different. Or at least she believes that to be the case. Number loves challenging other Pokémon's intelligence (in an indirect way) and likes to play mind games in which she attempts to learn what they're thinking and confuse them into thinking something else.
Having only recently evolved, she is quite smaller than your average Nidorina. Though she's small, her physical attacks are fairly powerful and she prefers attacking by ramming into things and biting with her sharp and deadly teeth, which is ironic seeing as half her moveset are special attacks. It seems as though Number lacks something Nidorina are known for: she isn't motherly or nurturing in the slightest.
Number masks her emotions from others and only exposes the "left side" of her brain. Only until she becomes attached to another Pokémon or person does she show or reveal how she feels. She's afraid of exposing emotional weak spots because she doesn't want to be taken advantage of. In Number's view, she controls everything whether you like it or not. Not you. Unless she meets a Pokémon that can beat her into place, she won't let anyone command her. If the situation calls for her being commanded by another, expect her to disobey them and do what she wants (though she does it in a sly way, so chances are you won't even know she has her own ideas until she decides to show you). Stubborn is her middle name. If you act like a tough guy to her, you'll scorn her more than you'll scare her off. This cocky Nidorina doesn't necessarily make it first priority to show you who's boss. Depending on your strength and where you stand, she'll either smother your face into the dirt or she'll pretend to be restrained and civil.
The good news is this: if you're a good enough commander and she sees you as powerful and worthwhile, she'll be the most loyal Pokémon you've ever met.
Number doesn't usually tease or put others down directly. She may mutter an indirect joke or two, but insulting someone for their looks or abilities just isn't something she believes in. Even though she does craftily rub in her intelligence, she won't try to insult anyone.
Number tries her best to not have to get violent with anyone on her side, and anyone on the opposing side is just considered fair game.
History: Number was born in the Safari Zone in Fuchsia City. She doesn't have any memory of her parents, but she was raised in a family of Pikachu and Raichu. When she was a young baby, she was found by the parent Raichu. They named her Felicie Schäfer, but she went by "Number" because she was so bothersome and needy that it seemed as if there were a number of adopted Nidoran rather than one. For at least a good portion of her life, she thought that she too was a Pikachu. One day she asked her "mother" why she couldn't use electric attacks like the other children. Her mother laughed and told her, "It's because you're a Nidoran, not a Pikachu!" The Pikachu all burst out laughing and Number was just plain confused and somewhat embarrassed.
They continued to tease her about it, saying, "Hey Number, why don't you use your thunderbolt attack? Oh wait, you can't!" Then they would continue to laugh at her. Number started to become annoyed by the constant teasing, so she would always push them over and rub their noses into the dirt. She still loved them all like siblings even though they fought all the time. A couple years later, she evolved into Nidorina and decided she was strong and smart enough to find a way to escape the Safari Zone. And that she did. After escaping, she was caught by a trainer after a half hour fight with the trainer's Squirtle. Almost as if predicting the very thing that had provoked her passive-aggressive manner, the trainer used TM24, or Thunder, on Number.
She was not fond of this trainer despite this. Number ignored orders and refused to battle for the trainer, so she was traded off to another trainer for a Butterfree. Number's attitude did not change and she was constantly passed over to different people. Finally, she made it to a trainer who could not trade her off, so she was released instead. She had been under the ownership of over ten different trainers in the course of a few months before she returned to the wild. With the new move she had, the first thing that sprung to mind was to go back into the Safari Zone to the family that had raised her. Upon going back, she politely met everyone before uttering, "Hey, want to see my thunder attack?" Before any of the Pikachu could respond,
ZAP.
With a chuckle, she told them that she would always be better than them, Pikachu or not. Number stayed with the family for a few more days and then left the Safari Zone again. This time, she knew she could not be caught again. She learned new tactics and strategies and anything else essential to her freedom. While training, she met a strangely coloured Tentacruel. It was orange and green, definitely not normal for the species. She fought it off after a long and difficult struggle. Number needed to inform herself about this new threat, one way or another. Extended research landed her at the doorstep of the Valoran Army, commanded by a human. Despite all the humans she had been with and all the pathetic things she went through, her hatred of these new orange and green zombie-like beings far surpassed that of humans. So it was then that she joined the Army and vowed to defeat the zombies. One thing for sure, is that if the human commander was no better than the others, Number had plans. She would defeat everyone and she would rule. The world would eventually be under her command. It was a childlike, twisted dream, but Number thought, or rather, thought she
knew, it would be reality.
