Though it's not that big a deal if people enjoy something. Isn't that why people watch these, for entertainment?
And people have different standards for things, no need to get all hopped up just because one thing is popular over another, just be happy that people are willing to subsidize and fund the industry.

It's the power of capitalism. People buy and support what they want. Even if a lot of people are tired of it. I'm tired of the fanservice, then again my tastes are more akin to a fujoshi's anyways.
