Ended up dropping it though. Got too zzzzzzzzzzzzz later on.

Yeah, saw the episode description for episode 12. Something like "Attack on Trost Part 8" So yeah, I can see what you mean about pacing.

Also, took me until the end of an episode of an anime to realize it was a parody of High School Musical. Probably because it was an anime parodying High School Musical.

I wouldn't say that. It's just a program that allows people to watch anime on an actual network. And dubbed, at that.

It's not as good as it used to be back before it got cancelled (and prior to it's later years), but it's just a anime primetime. Back in the day, it was responsible for getting a good portion of America into anime. Dragonball Z, Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam, Yu Yu Hakusho. I have good memories of it, best 5 to 7 (or 8 program there was). Then it moved from being weekly to Sundays only and we got shows like Naruto (which was, at the time, an unknown for most of America), One Piece, Zatch Bell, Teen Titans- among others.

Good times all around.

Well Cowboy Bebop goes without saying

And Johnny plays a mean Ichigo. More now than previously.

But I can't name a show on Toonami right now that has a bad dub. AoT has some unfitting voices and Naruto has Maile as Naruto (though the dub is good, otherwise).

But yeah, generally the shows on Toonami are picked up by good localization studios.

Well of course you're not. Can't see someone who doesn't watch dubs often being a fan.

Just like how I'm not a part of all this KanaHana hype. I mean, I watch a lot of anime in Japanese- moreso than dubbed, but I could name you far more dub VAs than subbed ones.

Though being a gamer helps.

Huh.

Which reminds me. If any of you watch Those Who Hunt Elves, a show from the mid-late nineties about elf stripping (and strangely not ecchi), watch it dubbed. It's priceless in a way that I can say isn't bad, but it's only something the nineties could produce.

That show one of my first anime outside of the weekly and Saturday stuff (which I didn't really know were anime), so I have a soft spot for it, but it's only 12 episodes and it's just great (and you can see some pretty hilarious localization choices when you play subtitles of the Japanese track over the English one.
