It aired here on Toonami back in the early to early-mid 2000s, so it's a little nostalgic for me since I'm 5. That and a bunch of other classics. Bravo, by the way, because I still have trouble believing that that show aired on a kids network.

Myself I really like the language (as well as the country, feels like the only European nation that isn't going to the hell currently). It's a fun challenge to learn it during my off time, lotsa rules to remember.

Really though, being an American with (currently) know plans to visit Germany, there's not really much practical use for me.

Plus, I can barely enthuse myself to learn Japanese, a language I would actually use rather frequently.
