Do any of your Pokemon intentionally have a neutral nature?

First and foremost, please DO NOT go on and on about how pokemon should not have a neutral nature because we ALL know that most natures raise one stat and lower another, we get it, you don't need to explain it, what this thread is about is if anyone CHOOSES to have any of their pokemon with a neutral nature and if so, which ones and why. We get that no stat gets a boost, but on the same note no stat gets a reduction either.

For me, I chose two to have Neutral Natures: Darmanitan and Diancie

Darmanitan because it has Zen Mode and in it's normal form, it's base Att is 140 and it's Sp Att is 30, but in Zen Mode those stats swap. In normal form both defenses are 55, but in Zen Mode they both bcome 105. In Normal Form it's speed is 95, but in Zen Mode it becomes 55 so there's no stat I would WANT to lower in order to boost another, and I also wouldn't know which stat to boost anyway since it changes from a fast, defensively weak physical attacker to a slow, bulky special attacker at half HP mark. so I figured it made the most sense to have a neutral nature so none of it's stats get lowered.

Diancie for a similar justification, but mostly it was because as I was soft resetting, I ended up getting a 5IV Diancie (31/31/31/29/31/31) that just happened to be neutral natured. The main reason I kept it, I'll be honest, was simply because it had 5IVs and it's 6th IV was only 2 points short of being perfect anyway, so I didn't think I would get this lucky again. (I had gotten 5 IVs a few times before, but the nature was always bad, usually Lax or Gentle actually) But also, because it made sense because most natures make you choose between a normal Diancie OR it's mega form (because the stats are so different between the two forms) whereas a neutral nature lets you go either way without having to choose between one form or the other and losing stats. (Because losing some points in one of it's defenses is no big deal in it's normal form, but when it mega evolves and loses 110 points in both defenses (at level 100) having a nature that loses points in either defense is just that much more noteworthy, so I figured a neutral nature was more beneficial if you wanted to have either Diancie when the situation dictated, rather than choosing one OR the other (which is why I hate Mega Evolutions sometimes so much!)

So, do you have any pokemon intentionally netural natured? If so, which ones and why?

Hm... although I do have a few, I don't believe I've gotten a hold of any neutral-nature Pokémon intentionally. Though, they're indeed much better choice than going with ones with wrong nature, I feel, and personally, I have one of these Pokémon on my Y team as we speak.

The Pokémon would be Gyarados, and reason as to why I have this is because, well, I'm not too experienced at IV-breeding (rarely do I bother), so I decided to capture some Gyarados I'm able to find, and go with something containing some decent nature. From all of these Pokémon I did catch, ninety-percent of them seemed to have something unwanted, with this Gyarados--one I'm using right now--being an exception.

I found a shiny Pumkaboo in the friend safari and fell in love with it. It's IVs were great, with the only horrible IV being in a stat it didn't need. But it was a neutral nature. I decided that the pros outweighed the cons and started training it. I love "Velvet" my purple Gourgeist.

Basically this happens when I'm super lazy or fed up. If I hatch 12 eggs and they're all poor natures I resort to a neutral if it happens. I can't remember which Pokemon I've done this with anymore. About a handful.

Really, it's never intentional for me. Similar to Virgo, I just give up sometimes.

I only have the battle in-game (battle competetively only on simulators) so natures don't really matter that much. I have used an Adamant natured Starmie in Ruby team and still managed to beat the Elite 4 quite comfortably. It was only level 54-55 something then. If I have to make a stat better I max the EVs and that's it. No wasting time searching for perfect IVs and Natures.

Since I never bother about the natures, about ⅕th of my Pokemon probably have neutral natures.

Yesssss. Two of mine if not more do, completely intentionally. A Samurott and a Salamence. Both are mixed attackers; and neither was appealing for me to sacrifice any stat, be it one defense or speed to boost another in particular. And both perform very admirably. ^^

Breeding for a nuetral nature by the way; actually very easy hahah. It really helps to have 3 or 4 different natures to choose from for the same effect.

Sort of. When I'm breeding for competitive Pokes, I usually try to go for the ideal ability for how I plan to use it. But when that proves to be too much trouble, I just settle for a neutral ability. It's a nice compromise, since I don't have to sacrifice anything, plus neutral abilities are much easier to breed for, since there's 5 of them.

One is far more likely to get one of four neutral natures than the specific one they're after. With that in mind, I often go with neutral natures because I'm not so fastidious that I want to breed dozens of monsters to get an ideal one. Fussing over 10% differences is some ultra tryhard crap I barely care about at all in any game. I'm also partial to neutrals on the grounds that I dislike all natures to begin with, solely because they contribute to the immense lengths the community goes to for a competitive edge.

I don't think I have ever done this intentionally nor would I try to do this in the future. There's always a stat that a Pokemon won't need to use, honestly, even with mixed Pokemon I really believe it's better to boost one and lower another set rather than cop-out and not pick a stat to lower.
