Of course looks count, I doubt many people will be attracted to someone who has a face full of acne and a huge body in 3 seconds flat >>

Just to not exaggerate looks, I must state I wouldn't care in normal relationships. Just... it's too careless if someone that close would think looks are unpleasing.

Well, you could take care of acne by not eating too many fried food products... and by using some cream and stuff... xD It works. o.o; *has tried*

looks counts just don't base a relationship on looks. It won't go anywhere. But yea they count though...I wouldn't date anyone who looked like a rat.
 
Well, looks don't really count for me. I prefer a person with a nice personality.

Technically if they had a nice personality they would pay some attention to their looks....
 
I sure hope they don't count with most people... Or I'm pretty screwed. xD

I suppose you won't find them not counting in highschool and below much though - more when you get into university and beyond, is where people get less look-inclined, or so I've been told.

Well that's shallow. There's no way around it. You honestly believe that "ugly" people are inferior to "beautiful" people. It doesn't surprise me, it seems that you're rather narcissistic, what with being your own avatar and having a "hot list" as your signature. The first word with which you describe yourself in your profile is even "hot" =/

If it sounds like I'm being a bit vindictive it's because I am. I'm infuriated by people who are obsessed with physicality.

To be honest, yes. Looks do count. You can't base a relationship on looks alone, but you need to have that physical attraction for the relationship to be complete. Personality is a lot more important but I don't think you can have a fully functional relationship with someone that you aren't really attracted to. I don't wanna be too blunt but sex is kinda important too...XD Of course, I'm speaking for the older members now...XD
 
I know it's horrible but in our world today, but most of the time they do. But now that everyone is becoming fat in the U.S, more people are starting to accept te obese XD (no mean to offend anyone)

Well, as in that other thread, "personality or hottness" or something like that, looks do matter somewhat. I mean, for me, personality is more important in a relationship, but the person should be a bit attractive. ^^;

And by being attractive, I am not just talking about what their face looks like. xX;; I mean their overall persona. XD It shows how much they truly care about their own well being and keeping healthy. ^o^

So all in all, looks do matter, but they are not everything. ^_~

Meh, I don't know. I'm leaning towards No because I think it's what's inside that counts, but it would also be nice to have him be good-looking..so both if possible.
