Do You Believe In Ghosts?

    Right...I understand the question was a little bit random.

    But ghosts really freak me out, and I don't know why, I'd rather there be life after death but ghosts are just creepy...

    Anyway, what brought this on was...I stayed up all night last night on Facebook and the Pokécommunity writing an RP.

    When I decided to have a break so I sat in my living room watching Family Guy, then I noticed one of the blinds were bent, so as I go to fix them, I jumped out of my skin...metaphorically.

    There was a man about 50ish, standing across the road from my house outside the school and he was smoking a cigar, just stood there, and he saw me!?!?! I ran back, didn't open the blinds again incase he was outside the window like this :|

    But my friend said it was probably a ghost, and it got me paranoid...I know it was probably just a crazy old man, but ghosts. Do you believe in them?
     
    I don't really, but the number of stories I've heard do make me wonder if there is a little bit of truth to the whole 'ghosts exist' thing. If they really weren't real, would there be all these tales?
     
    Ghosts... I don't believe in them. But I don't completely ignore that they might exist either.
    As long as a fantastic creation of God like you exists, so can other creations beyond your imagination.
     
    Yes I do believe in ghosts because I had an odd experiance once involving them.

    and not only that I believe in Ghost, I actually love and saw some before (and I wasn't hallucinating, crazy or on drugs)

    Nah. I think it's retarded to believe in stuff like that. It's just mind tricks and only people that let themselves believe in them see them.

    OMG! That light blur looks like a ghost! .... c'mon people.
     
    Ughh, its not very nice to call other peoples beliefs, "Retarded" and, the magority of people who believe in ghosts have seen a lot more than just a, "Light blur."

    Anyway, I don't know what I believe in, I believe in Heaven and Hell but I don't know how things work in Heaven so maybe you can visit the living, I am open-minded.
     
    Nah, it just doesn't make sense. It brings up too much questions about religion and the supernatural. For example, why do all of the ghosts have clothes?

    Exactly, people who claim to see ghost see alot more than a blur, they see a human figure or the firgure of an animal or a type of shadow or orb etc. People see different things and in my life I have seen what seemed to be shadows racing up the stairs in my home, if you wonder how I can see shadows, well they are agaisnts the light cream wall and I am not blind, it was recently that my brother was speaking about them and my mum was shocked because I had told her the exact same thing and she didn't believe me, I'm not really too scared of ghosts, it is creepy yeah, but quite comforting at the same time.

    When I was 5, I saw what seemed to be a man, in my room. I have never lived in the same house as a man. ._.;

    It was pitch black, but I could definatly see a dark man-like figure. So when I sleep, I leave my light on. I've also been in my nana's house and seen her partner's dead mother staring at me through various mirrors and windows. This still creeps me out. I refued to go there go 2 years after my 10th experience of her.
