Do you have any ideas for new moves?

  • Shocking Slash: 75 power physical Electric move. Has an increased critical chance and a 10% paralysis chance.
  • I-beam: 50 power special Steel move. Raises the user's Special Defense by 1 stage 20% of the time. Exists mostly as a mid-level option.
  • Sparkling Scratch: 50 power physical Fairy move. Lowers the opponent's critical rate by 1 stage. (Becomes a 0% critical chance without any critical-boosting effects.)
  • Stoop: 70 power physical Flying move. Calculates damage using its Speed stat, rather than its Attack stat. (Is also affected by things like Tailwind and paralysis. Bets on this being a highly sought-after move.)
  • Soil Surge: 40 power special Ground move. Hits all other Pokemon. Changes the terrain to Grassy Terrain, regardless of if it hits.
  • Conduct: 40 power special Electric move. Hits all other Pokemon. Turns the terrain to Electric Terrain, regardless of if it hits.
  • Choking Gas: 60 power special Poison move. Hits all other Pokemon. Locks you into the move for 3 turns. Poisons and flinches all other Pokemon after the third use. (Likely more interesting than strong?)
  • 1-2 Combo: 50 power physical Fighting move. Locks you into the move for the next turn. Doubles in power and always criticals on the second turn. Pierces Protect-type moves on the second hit. (Probably not that strong, but different.)

Stardust Slam: 80 base power physical Fairy move, 10% chance to raise the user's Attack by 1
Cupid's Bow: 50 base power physical Fairy move, 100% chance to infatuate the target (if possible)
Mudslide: 90 base power special Ground move, -3 priority, hits all opposing Pokémon. If the user is hit by a Water type move, it immediately activates the attack and lowers opposing Pokémon's Speed by 1. Otherwise, the attack activates at -3 priority and does not lower Speed. (Similar to Beak Blast and Shell Trap)
Crystal Beam: 70 base power special Rock move, 20% chance to confuse the target
Flash Freeze: Ice type status move, changes the target's move to an Ice type move (similar to Electrify)

Frostfire. Sort of like Will-O-Wisp. Puts the Frostburn effect from PLA on the opponent, halving their Special Attack and dealing damage over time. Has 85 Accuracy, but becomes 100 Accuracy if used during a Snowstorm. Doesn't work on Ice types.

And as Rock desperately needs some better widely accessible moves that don't have rubbish accuracy:
Crushing Boulders. 90 Power, 100 Accuracy. Physical, 10PP. Has a 10% chance to flinch the opponent.
Gem Cannon. 100 power, 100 Accuracy. Special, 10PP. Basically just a special Rock type version of Earthquake.
