Do you spend time in the school library?

    The title is assuming that your school can actually afford a library. Therefore if you don't have a school library, you can answer as a local library.

    Yeah, I'm in my school's right now... last year I used to be here all the time but now I don't really bother unless I have to go here for class.
     
    my school has a library, but i spend time in the local library after school. From 3:35-5:00pm I usually read the manga they have, or just chill with my friends that go there
     
    I used to spend a lot of time in my high school library, but that might have had something to do with the fact that I had numeral classes meeting there. ^^;

    As for time spent there out-of-class, not so much.

    During my Junior year I volunteered as a library assistant, but even then I was only there for an hour each day.
     
    At my last city..

    The city library was right next to the school and the school library had basically nothing, and since it's at school they blocked everything from google to porn on their computer network. So, no, I actually never went there except when the entire class went. I just went to the one next door after school since I walk home.
     
    You kind of have to when you get to uni. IT is one of the best places to go when you want to study for a test. Just find a table there and start plowing away.
     
    Can't now (in school), I'm doing time at the bike shed 'til the end of the year, due to escaping to the milk bar and getting caught getting out. Lol. Before that, I did, heaps.
     
    My school was in an old church, so what functioned as our "library" was also the lunch room and where we all went every morning before class, so.. yeah, I did used to spend time there, I suppose.

    We had like 3 or 4 bookshelves in the back.. I don't think anyone ever read them more than like once a year when we had some assignment that required an encyclopedia.

    Anywhoo, I'm homeschooled now, and I have the internet, so I have no need to go to a library.
     
    I do at lunchtimes from time to time, it depends how bored I am and whether anything interesting is happening in our common room or not.
     
    Sometimes in the mornings I would work on some essays in the library so I didn't have to worry about them when the deadlines came near. Depending on the mood (though I usually go Monday regardless) I'll stay after school and read a bit so I don't have to deal with my sister.
     
    If I need to get some homework done or if I'm just bored at lunch.

    Or if it's effing cold outside.
     
    When I went to school,no. Now I work at the public one... so yeah. A lot.
     
    I spend a load of time in the library during the semester. The library is so huge.

    Plus both the library and Tech center are open like 24hrs except on the weekend so late nite studying is bound to happen.
     
    Spending my free time in the library? No thank youuu.

    I spend my free time with my graphic design teacher and a few other students who usually meet there during lunch. But next year, I won't really have any time to do anything since I go in late and leave early and the periods between the time I go to school and leave school, I'm busy with classes. So, yeah~
     
    I was at the actual school library six times this past year. First time was to know some new system that I really don't care about or remember. The second time was to take out some library books for a giant book report. Third was to help a teacher move food for some induction ceremony. The fourth time was to return one of those books and pay the a $2.00 fine. The fifth was to return another book to keep the fine from going up and then chill with my friend before we had exams. The sixth time was to actually pay that fine and chill with the same friend and our other friend before exams. :3
     
    My school used to have a library, but now it's an ordinary computer room. I wish our library was back.
    As for the local library, I don't use it, ever. Not because I don't like books, just because I don't want to use it.
     
    I used to use the school library regularly, I didn't read there though, it was the only place in the school with comfortable chairs. They had laptops aswell, which was useful. Then I got banned from it. ;[
     
    Not really, I prefer to be outside but when it's rainy and wet I go there x]
