Do you talk like you type?

I sound more shy and reserved in real life than on online. When I'm online, I'm a bit more formal (with a bit of casualness) and a tad more confident.

An example of how I talk irl:

I don't know like I guess so? Well actually idk probably not maybe I do maybe I don't what do you guys think

Compared to how I post on here:

I guess so, I personally don't think I talk on here like how I do in real life. What do you guys think?

PC is really the only site I bother to try sound coherent on (even though I don't think I do sound very coherent, lol). When it comes to MSN or Tumblr I type like how I talk irl and I abuse exclamation marks because I get very excited over the littlest things irl, lol.

No. I don't type like I talk, but I've found that I type like I think. I think and type way more articulately than I speak verbally, which only comes at a detriment to my real life haha. I guess I'm just not great at thinking on my feet but the extra time that typing provides allows me to type more intelligibly.

I tend to be more expressive of myself online. i don't really hold back, and things seem a lot more intelligent online. I have a high use of emoticons, and I really like using them c:

My voice irl is a lot more loud, quick, and to the point.
I would say the ways I talk online and offline are different, but its mostly due to the useage of emoticons, and the online aspect of it.

whenever i type like this and put **** in every sentence and do a stream of consciousness then yes this is how i actually talk

If i make a post in OC that has one or two paragraphs then no obvs i couldnt actually talk like that, but otherwise i don't really make an effort.

You chuckle a LOT too! It's so fun to talk to you!

I talk either really composed or really quickly. Especially when frustrated, things just come out like a motorboat. I guess that's from growing up in a loud, italian family. But usually when I chat I'm really easygoing and I laugh and crack jokes a lot. People somehow think I'm a crazy serious person, but when I'm chatting I find I'm more casual than anything. I would say a bit of both though.. it depends on my mood and the time of day.

I speak very much like how I type, strange word choice and all! I tend to speak quickly as well when I know what I'm saying, which you'd see if you saw me typing because I just put the speed into my fingers? Or something? But then there are those times when I get stuck on a word or trip up and forget how to formulate a sentence which doesn't much show in my typing because I just sit and stare at the screen or toss similar words into thesaurus.com until I find what I'm looking for. Oh and you may be able to see the speed of my thinking/typing/talking in the way that I have a ton of run-on sentences and little punctuation like commas and things.

Really my typing and talking are at their most similar when I am speaking as I do something like walk or play ping-pong because as my body moves I start talking and my mental barriers against just chattering come down. That's what my mind's like most all the time, it just doesn't come out all that much. Other times I'm very dry-humored and sarcastic and tease a lot which comes out a bit less online because that's more spur of the moment and inflection-based which is hard to convey online and okay I need to breathe I do that too I don't breathe properly when I'm typing fast as if I'd been talking. Which is weird.

IN CONCLUSION: Yes I talk like I type and type like I talk though of course there are slight differences but it's all just me and what you see is what you would hear and it's pretty much just stream-of-consciousness. Basically.

I type in a more intelligent manner than I speak admittedly... Though I apparently sound rather stern due to the way I formulate my sentences either way, which is actually kinda the last thing I want. :(

I type a lot more formally and intelligently than I speak. I don't go around babbling stuff that has nothing to do with logic, but I'm not as up-tight.
I think it's nice to actually think about something before you post it online, cause you have the time. In real life, however, it's kind of hard to keep up.
