Do you think anything in life is able to last forever?

Maybe in the sense of the rest of your existence forever, but forever seems like a long time. And oral tradition can't be trusted anyways.
Is this just a clever ruse so we can keep saying your name?

To be truly honest I don't think so.

Everything can be ended so nothing can last forever, the way I see things.

Fascinating topic, big thumbs up!

I will answer your question with another question (I'm annoying like that).

How long is life? The life we live currently (about 81 years) or the life that we could live with the right medical technology (who knows). I have different answers to each question.

Short life: Yes
Long life: No

Sorry if I've been annnoying or over-complicating things.

I don't think anything lasts forever. Cause everything can fade away; memories, friends, dreams. Even how smart you are can fade away eventually.

Except one thing, Twinkies can last forever and forever. :D

Well, I think certain things aren't gonna last forever, whether you like it or not.
But, if anyone's religous, I'm pretty sure they believe their ...deity is pretty much immortal.
I think that love, the family kind, and maybe true love, lasts forever. I think that certain beliefs and convictions will last forever and withstand the test of time. And I guess the last thing that will last forever are memories, certain ones anyway. They maybe intangible, but they're still there.

I'd say the effect we have on others and the world lasts "forever," in a way. I won't mind so much if I'm buried in an unmarked grave and nobody knows my name; I'll be content to die knowing that the world was a better place for my being here, if only a little.
