0.o So...after shaking the darn thing for 5 minutes straight I get a total of...31 steps. Ftw.

    Is everyone else's working?

I remember reading somewhere that they took measures to prevent people from shaking it for steps. It's recorded as "steps" and not "shakes" for a reason.

yea mine works just fine its awsome i just walked for 5 mins and got 900 steps

Really? Heh. ^_^ That figures. I've gotta figure out how to put the clip on it...then I'll take it with me to the store later.

No, you shook it wrong. Clasp your hand together in a bubble and then shake your PokeWalker. That way, it'll get a lot of steps, 5 minutes gave me about 20-30W with it, about 400-600 steps.

Anyway, mine is glitched, I sent my Cyndaquil to train and now it never learned Ember.

Yeah it works. If you run/walk, you'll get some steps and good watts.

It records steps as opposed to shakes rather accurately. If anything, it gives you more steps than you take.

i tied mine to my fan.... got me 90+ wats in 10 minuts

^ The cheapest way to get WATTS.

xD haha! That's hilarious. ^_^ With my luck though, it would go flying across the room.

Yea; steps are much more accurate!! I just put the clip on mine and walked around the house...so much easier!!!

Your luck isn't as bad as mine.

I have a disease (and I just got it at MIDNIGHT), I'm somewhat blind, I fell down the stairs, nearly was run over by a car when I went to get some fresh air, and I almost dropped a cup of really hot tea on my ingrown-toenailed foot.

Now that is bad luck and we're off-topic.

Now, the PokeWalker hates me as well.

...indeed, that is rather unlucky and offtopic. =P

Anyways as said it has measures against shaking it, so you have to either be inventive/'shake' it a different way (throwing + catching works well if done right actually), or just walk with it as you're meant to. =P

Seeing that's the answer, closed. Any questions, use the Help thread please.
